I wish more people were like me. If I miss something I would accept that fact and move on. I would never pay inflated prices to scalpers for anything. I collect Blu Rays and Statues as well as figures and I only buy them at the manufacturer prices or cheaper. Would never pay some greedy speculator anything extra.

It really is a shame that we are forced to that with gas for our vehicles. I laugh when someone gets mad at the oil companies as they have nothing to do with it. It's all about the speculators.

Well I asked.....but then even I ended up running my mouth about the subject. I only bought one and that seems to be the thing this thread is about.

Yeah, that doesn't work at all. It just allows you to buy 3000 (and charges thousands for shipping!), so I'm starting to think that the people who post "current sales" numbers are justing pulling them out of their a--, since no one seems to be able to give a legitimate answer as to how and where these numbers can be found.

Several different posters have given a legitimate answer to your question several times throughout this thread. It works fine for me. Maybe something's wrong with your browser?

It says there are currently 1,352 still available.

Yep, Gas could be $5 next year. The Fed keeps printing money now with QE3 and all that cash is running to stocks/commodities. That is driving the prices up. Gold, oil, etc. The dollar will get trashed even more, hell the NOTLD 90 blu is a better investment than our currency.

The trick does work, I won't post the number.

I know someone who *might* be willing to part with one that he viewed only once Ned. No magnet, but otherwise mint collectible condition. If you're interested, PM me, and I'll approach him about it...

I stand corrected. Never made it to the final confirmation of my order. 1346 left. Thanks to whomever made that suggestion. Still have time to contemplate picking a couple more up for Christmas gifts. Though, it seemed to only work for NOTLD. All the other titles I tried didn't change from 3000. Don't know if this has been mentioned in passing here or not, but the TT Facebook page also made mention that Christine will be released in the new year.

If you're shrewd about your timing wormraper, then you basically just got your own NOTLD90 Blu-ray for FREE. By my math, that's better than $8 to $10 bucks from a bargain bin.

No slipcovers. There's really nothing fancy about a Twilight Time release aside from being limited to 3,000 copies and having an isolated score track.

A typical Twilight Time release consists of:
  1. A MPEG-4 AVC encoded 1080P film transfer
  2. An era appropriate (mono, stereo, 5.1 surround, etc.) DTS-HD MA audio track
  3. A stereo DTS-HD MA isolated score track (music only, no dialogue)
  4. Original theatrical trailer(s)(if available)

Sometimes, such as is the case with this release, an audio commentary is included, but it's hardly a given for a typical release. Other special features that were part of prior DVDs are not included on the Twilight Time Blu-Ray, as their contract with Sony (and possibly Fox as well) does not allow them to use or create any special features on or for the release.

Twilight Time's schtick (aside from the limited pressings) is the isolated soundtrack, which is appropriate given that Screen Archives Entertainment's primary merchandise is film score CDs, but I'd venture a guess that this is an unappreciated or underappreciated (depending on your point of view) feature that would seem to have little, if any, bearing on one's decision to purchase the title. I believe I've read that they hold an exclusivity on their titles for 3 years after their release.

Many thanks. Damn with almost barebones, its too expensive, but I guess its the 3,000 numbers as to why they can name the price.
