Oh yeah of course. But that fact they sold over half their stock within TWO DAYS is pretty impressive. Still pretty good odds it sells out before release day.

Of course if TT happens to get a favorite of mine then I will have to splurge, but if it's just a BD I wouldn't mind having then that's just not worth the money for me. |

They make an initial authorization, which is then removed, and then they charge you when it ships.

This will be my 2nd TT purchase. I got on Fright Night cause I knew I'd want it, and figured I've spent $30 on dumber things in my life. Apparently its a HUGE deal.
Now that I have NotLD on its way as well.. I wondered. Is there any reason why I shouldn't open my FN blu? Its basically a collectors item, based on amazon and ebay prices. I usually leave my movies sealed unless there is a DC in with them. And open them when I want to watch. But, I've wanted to watch FN a few times and was like.. ehhhh maybe I should just leave it in the plastic. Part of the reason why I ordered a couple NotLD movies. Open one, leave one sealed. Kinda like my collectable horror figures. I'm not going to sell them.. but, I still leave them in the packaging. Maybe I'm just OCD or something. |

They didn't debit my Paypal account, nor did I receive a confirmation e-mail from Screen Archives. I've read that some people got one from them, so I'm a bit worried.

Anyway... Go to the Screen Archives site. On the left side of the screen, find the menu choice for "My Account". Click on it an log into your account. Then go to "My Orders". You pre-order for NOTLD should be there. If it is, your good. If it isn't, something is wrong. |

4. Payment details. Credit cards are pre-authorized but not captured until we ship the order. Check or PayPal payments are required at time of order. From what I understand, this means that with PayPal your funds will be taken immediately. If you pay by credit card through the Screen Archives website, they'll lock the funds but it won't officially show up on your statement until October when the item ships. |

I remember watching this movie when I was in high school. My brother, a very large group of friends and me went to see it and it was such great fun

I would be a bit worried too. I received a confirmation e-mail within minutes, last night.

Thanks to Dex Robinson, I didn't realize I could have easily checked the My Account page on their website. |

But I can easily see why someone would prefer the remake. It's a lot of fun, it's in color, it's gorier, and Barbara is way more pro-active (though I still like catatonic Barbara better....especially when she comes alive near the end and tries to fight a little). And I suppose there is the Tony Todd factor as well. I'm just thankful this movie respects its source and I like to watch it every few years or so. But I just don't come back to it yearly like I do with the '68 version. |
