my first post here to state I got my confirmation order, but it did not say how many were left. Where are people seeing where it sayd how many are left because I did not see that anywhere. I ordered more than 1 though.

And according to the website the only special feature it listed was commentary and the score.

That is fine. Just check your account with SAE and the order should be listed there.

There are 605 left...just place 1,000 copies in your cart and update...leave the site and surf the Internet as normal then come back after a few minutes and the actual quantity left will be displayed in the cart.

I've never seen this film. It it better than Return of the Living Dead (1985)?

Never works for me. The shopping cart game is so odd because it doesn't work for everyone. I mean shouldn't it work so they don't sell copies they don't have?

I don't know if that is the general feeling amongst horror fans. I never liked Return of the living Dead but I know the zombie move lovers tend to love Return more than the remake of NOTLD, as a matter of fact some hate the remake with a passion.

I found ROTLD a bit too mean spirited and comic like. However the zombies in NOTLD 90' look disturbingly like real corpses and the look fits in better with the other Romero sequels.

Who would hate the remake when its the same movie with better F/X and characterizations. It ain't one of those unauthorized recuts or loose remakes.

Well I don't hate it BUT some hardcore fans do. They're feeling was why remake what was already perfection? Siskel and Ebert felt the same way.

Romero really needed the money and without the film I doubt the F/X for Darkman would've been as good due to it using the same computers to design make-up.

They're kind of hard to compare, since Return of the Living Dead is more of a comedy with some gore and zombies thrown in, and Night of the Living Dead '90 is mostly a straight horror film (though there is some humor). It's a good remake of a classic, but Return of the Living Dead is a better and more entertaining film, in my opinion.

Though the ending is surprisingly much more bleak than any Romero movie....and the same guy dies in two sequels.

Yeah, the ending of Return is the only weak link to an otherwise perfect movie, I think. It felt like the production ran out of money, so they had to wrap it up in a hurry,
[Show spoiler]"let's just blow it up".

It's a modernized remake of "Night". It is more or less the same film as the original, but with more gore courtesy of Savini's FX. I think it's great, for what it is - but kind of unnecessary since the original is perfect.

"Return" is a entirely different animal. It's campy, fun and doesn't take itself seriously at all. This film is where the famous "Brains!" comes from, plus there is punk rock chick that runs around naked for the entire film!

The F/X adds more realism, not just gore. Most of the characters die from accidents not zombies anyways.
