Absolutely agree. Since its strong debut with Journey, The Big Heat has frequently bounced back into TT's weekly Top 10. It's sort of played a lot like Mysterious Island, which just puttered along, steadily selling, until one day SAE's last chance notice went out.

The horror genre has a more devoted fanbase, and those fans are usually involved in the collector's market. You hear of horror fans and horror conventions, but how often do you hear of drama or romantic comedy conventions?

As Good As It Gets may be a superior film, but the biggest audience of that film probably aren't as into the blu-ray market as horror fans would be, nor would they be willing to pay $35 for it when you can pick up the DVD for $5. I'm sure many fans of the film aren't even aware a blu-ray exists.

They could release Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation and it would probably out-sell As Good As It Gets. Well, that example might be pushing it, but the point remains the same.

I put an order in. It will be a blind buy for me, but I've always heard good things and I don't mind supporting these guys.

Less than 300!!

It's amazing this has sold nearly 3000 but Enemy Mine has only sold nearly 1000.

Even though I ordered mine a few days ago it's still pretty cool to watch the number reduce at this time. Sad...but cool

Probably be gone in 4 hours or so! I imagine the last 100 will fly out.

There's life while there are still copies of NOTLD '90 left. Then there's life AFTER they're all gone. How much longer until someone posts, "And Then There Were None"?

I've got my copy locked in. Just waiting for the email telling me it's on it's way.

I hope he does and it annoys the hell out of him. Guy seems to have quite the attitude problem.

I just hope Ed is prepared for this. I am from Canada and I would prefer to get this sometime in October.

I'm considering ordering NOTLD from TT, only the price has me hesitating a little bit since my job situation hasn't been the greatest this past summer. How is the quality of TT's releases since I've never bought a single movie from them?

TCM: TNG would probably sell out, maybe not AS fast but the title alone would help it. It's considered a "bad" movie but fans would buy it. I would. Call me crazy but I like it more than 3... and more than the remake and the prequel.

Seems like generally they're good. They use the masters from the studio so it's not really known what we're gonna deal with. Worst case you can always sell it after watching it though if you don't like it. It'll sell for at least what you paid for it, probably more though.

273. Tomorrow afternoon it will be done.

I'm really surprised Bell, Book and Candle hasn't moved faster. It has been a fairly popular movie in the past and used to be on TV all the time. I guess it has just slowly been forgotten by most people. It was my gateway into TT releases; I had to have it once I found out about it and put my pre-order in straight away. Now I have all their blus and DVDs even, and love them all! (I'm pretty easy to entertain and can usually find a little merit in everything. )

As long as it is better than the DVD in terms of PQ, I would be happy with it. I have about 20 DVD's left that have not had a Blu-ray release and this is one of them. Thanks.

Do they charge your account once this has shipped?

Is this selling out at a faster rate than Fright Night did?
