In his KQEK interview, Nick Redman describes TT's role as a "petri dish" for some of these releases which the home studio was unsure about going wider with themselves.

So yes SammymeBlu, it's probably a given that if a premium priced 3000 Blu-ray limited run of a title does sell out in only a few months, weeks, or days, then the home studio will be looking at that performance and re-evaluating their own position down the line once TT's 3-year licensing window expires.

It's fairly safe to predict that any softer selling TT titles like The Wayward Bus, Cover Girl, The Roots of Heaven, and yes, even As Good As It Gets will most likely never see another Blu-ray release, whereas Fright Night, NOTLD90, and even Journey to the Center of the Earth or Mysterious Island might eventually come back in some form, either via the parent company or another licensee.

But 3 years is 3 years. Given TT's high production standards and access to the studio's best HD masters, I see no reason to wait for some uncertain *hypothetical* future re-release which *might* be cheaper, yet no better quality. There have already been too many twists and turns and dead ends with the Blu-ray format to trust where the big studios are going with it, at least in terms of their catalogue titles.
