Keep it basic, disable all enhancers. Contrast 80, Brightness 50, Oled Light 65, gamma 2.4

This is all giving me a headache. Lol

Is there a list of all master calibrators on some website? I'd rather not hire geek squad. That's all I am getting on Google in my area.

Aside from the noise, hdr seems too red and blus look too blue.

What source are you watching it from? I also notice quite a bit of noise on my E6, but I feel like that is mostly source dependent. It's almost like the set makes bad source material look worse, while good source material looks better than I've ever seen. Unfortunately, I watch a lot of bad source material (Directv).

Both uhd and blus. Pineapple express has a lot of noise. And I know the difference between noise and grain.

After spending all day putting in different movies. And just now watching my first 3D on it.

The 3D is amazing!!! Best 3D yet. And my god do blu rays look great. But uhds, not so much. I think it has to do with my hdr settings. But overall I am very happy. Just gonna stick to blus for now.

Most 3d looks a lot better on these new OLED TV's. I've rewatched a bunch since getting my set.

Some UHD looks great and some not so much. So far the best looking UHD Blu-ray I've watched was Lucy. Some others are very good such as Sicario and Revenant, and some others not noticeably better than their HD versions, e.g. Now you see me.

I've watched a couple series from Amazon Prime that were UHD and some even with Dolby Vision HDR. Unfortunately they go up and down in quality depending on when it truly stays in UHD. One example with Dolby Vision is Bosch series 2.

Best HD blu-ray picture I've seen was when watching Baraka. OF course the original was scanned at 8k but from the Blu-ray it is down to 1080P, but the upscale to UHD looked great on this.

Can you go over your HDR settings? I think I know what the issue is here

Has anyone gone from an EF9500 to one of these new sets? My EF9500 is going to get exchanged and I'm debating whether to go with the E6 or C6. I prefer the Non-Curved but I but I'm not sure I want to pay another $1000 to go up to the E6 just for the flat TV (I already have a killer 5.1 sound system).

Also, is there one or another that has less vignetting and banding than the others? I have had several EF9500s and they have all had terrible banding and terrible to minor vignetting. The banding is the worst out of the two with dark scenes.

I'm thinking C6 because I want to keep 3D (3D on OLED is my favorite), but I have had an EG9100 OLED and it had horrible vignetting, I'm not sure if it was from the curve or not.

The E6 only has slightly more fine tuning ability when calibrating, other than that and having the "built in/separate" speaker, the PQ is practically identical between the two TV's.
It's all down to whether you want to pay extra to not have a curve.

In addition the E6 is more likely to have banding and vignetting issues, according to current owners. The C6 has had minimal complaints for inconsistencies whereas the E6, especially 65" has had many uniformity complaints. Although at the end of the day it's a Panel lottery so you may get lucky.

More likely? Where are you getting this info? Curving in other sets is more likely to cause uneveness in viewing, but as I haven't seen the C6 I cannot say that the C6 has that problem.

I think you are mistaking LG C6 curved with 2015 Samsung curved

If consumers don't want a curve TV the B series is what they will go for (except if they want 3D then the B is not for them). If they don't want to pay for the higher priced models, You're not paying extra for "curve" considering the B and C series are the cheaper models for this years line. The E series looks much nicer than the C and B series do. The picture on glass really is very impressive to look out when the TV is on and off.
