Motion with sports on my E6 looks just as good as the Sony 940C I owned. Movie motion looks a lot better than my old Pioneer 5020, and my Samsung F8500 plasma. No comparison.

There hasn't been much in the way of sports yet that I want to watch since the release of the 2016 models. Football season should be interesting, but the little golf, hockey, and racing that I've seen hasn't been bothersome. The response times of OLED, I believe, really do help.

As for the ZT60, the IR was just too much for my psyche to handle.

From what I've read on avforums and avsforums the motion is flawless on the OLEDs. If not then someone just hasn't got the right settings on or its a faulty panel

It's been objectively shown motion on OLED has some work to do and right now is acting similar to how motion is handled on LCDs without motion interpolation tech and only Samsung so far has proven to have the absolute most effective version of it.

Just read HDTVtest.co.uk review of the G6 and you'll see a part about the motion resolution and they're really honest guys. They say it like it is and they basically so all things considered, OLED G6 is the daddy with caveats. One of those is still slightly inaccurate colour reproduction on the next gen colour standards and motion resolution needs work.

Just like Pioneer when they had the Kuro, some people had Pioneer Kuro and others had the Elite Kuro. At the end of the day it was still a Pioneer and great television. Ask those that have Kuro vs the Elite why they paid the difference for the Elite compared to the Kuro?

If you want to purchase an OLED its a win win whichever one you get! Just to say you have OLED is like saying you have a Kuro!

In the end, the human eye and motion detection are still open to subjectivity. Said motion resolution test was designed in particular to show the superiority of plasma. The instantaneous response times of OLED are a more pleasing benefit to some than the loss of effective lines of resolution as measured by the aforementioned test, and motion on the OLED is something easy to become acclimated to. I am saying this a former Kuro and ZT60 owner. Finally, short of a reference next to your TV, you're not going to pick up on the minimal color errors. Not a single owner has come forward with a complaint about color after a calibration. Even OOTB ISF modes are remarkably good.

Motion is just fine. I feel that de-judder at 2 to 5 and de-blur at 9 to 10 hit the spot for sports and fast-paced action movies
Our buddy Punisher said that he wouldn't recommend neither LEd or OLED panels...So what is left as a third option for those of us who no longer own plasma TVs?

Great post, and again I want to stress the fact that the TruMotion tool-when used properly-can create the best motion resolution for any type of content

patience....don't buy a new tv unless you absolutely have to...........

just so we know who we are dealing with here. Our Friend Rocky III posted this on one the many other threads he has "participated" in

"I really like the anti-judder/soap opera effect and I was wondering if there was a way to mimic that effect on my HD projectors "

He posts as an owner of LCD tv's in LCD threads too.

So far he contributed a dvd screen shot from his wife's cell phone on "HIS" OLED tv here.

Soap Opera effect is all in preference. Nobody should tell you how to set up your own display, whether that be Oled, LED, or HD projector.
I get bored quick of the 24fps look, but I know the difference at least...
And what the heck does that have to do with the topic at hand anyway??

it shows your lack of experience for starters...you are definitely a noobie but that's ok. We all started off that way. You will get better with time. You will be here long after us "old timers' are gone.

Well, sometimes a noob can get it right...It's not like there has been a lack of old-timers who havent vouched for Oled already anyway
If all you needed was folks with more experience to convince you that Oled is worth investing in you should have said it from the beginning

Struggling hard not to get the 65E6V. My plasma Panny is just fine and only 3 years old but I'm dying to dip on some 3D and UHD content although I don't plan on getting a 4K player until the end of the year. Fingers crossed for the new Oppo.

Amusing but fortunately there are enough seasoned vets in here whereas Oled can certainly strive without my positive comments

I'm giving it a few more years to strive then.

Here's ABT's listing of the 65" B6 at $4,499 listing it as a sale that ends on 7/2/16.

LG funds the promotion for sales from today through 7/02/16 and I hope to see LG extend this deal or offer it again.
PRO-6130HD, you were correct! Just late yesterday LG send out the new roadmap and it shows the 2016 55" and 65" B6, C6 and E6 sale continuing through July 9th. On Sunday July 10th the prices go back up.

Good news for all who are interested in buying but have not done so yet.
