This is ridiculous...My panel is defective for 3D and LG refused to do anything about it under the 1-year warranty

The Oled is fine except for 3D. Probably a faulty filter. But 3D is my favorite feature

The excuse the tech gave me for not being able to issue a replacement was that 3D must be viewed at 12 feet of distance! So apparently the panel is fine, I am just sitting too close... Are you kidding me??

seems too many panels being replaced and returned so it has to stop sometime. Remember the "greatest tv in the world" the Sharp Elite. Same thing there until not only could they not afford to replace them any more, they never made the promised and improved second generation. At first they just replaced panels no questions asked and for trivial issues. Now LG finds themselves in the same boat. You get what you pay for from poor tv manufacturer's like LG.The bottom dwellers every year at the VE shootouts. They are good for cell phones and refrigerators. Nothing more.....

What I did find ridiculous is the lack or respect and the attempt to simply say that "LG 3D must be viewed at 12 feet away"...and I only have a 55-inch!
The guy literally took a look at it for 30 seconds before coming to his conclusion.

All jokes aside, I asked LG rep to point me to the source staing that "3D on a 55-inch Oled must be viewed from 12 feet of distance" and he kept beating around the bush, no straight answers.
The last thing he said was that they could send another tech out but if the diagnostic was to be the same, this time I wolud get charged for the service call. Unbelieavable!

They seem to get raving reviews from a lot of people, Kind of weird for a poor tv bottom dweller company. You can hate the TV all you want its your opinion, But its currently the best TV available on the market for purchase.

Their website (and this video) says 9ft - how close are you sitting?

Thank you all for all your help. This was a tough decision and I wanted to be extra sure before I spent this much money. You guys here on blu ray forums are all amazing. Especially Robert. Anyone who needs a TV should definitely deal with him. He has been nothing but helpful.

I ended up buying a 65" E6. Amazon offered me a deal I could not refuse. Which also allowed me to spend more than I originally wanted to. Thus letting me get the 65" E6. Words cannot express how happy I am about this purchase. . It will be arriving Tuesday!!
You praised Robert for all of his help and mentioned that when someone needs a new TV, they should deal with Robert yet you purchased from Amazon. Strange???

.
