Yeah, I was beating around the bush in my earlier comments. I realize that the reconfigured line from Jedi may not be used in Awakens itself, my point was, why re-purpose that line, emphasizing family, unless it reflects a story element of the new movie. I think Finn wielding the lightsaber is misdirection. I think that weapon ends up in Rey's hands eventually.

Abrams probably had Mark Hamill make 8 different noises. One for each rerelease of The Force Awakens on home video.

Maybe he just has big hands? all the other lightsabers were custom made or picked out, if Hamill's lightsaber suited Mark, it might not suit Boyega (if they're using a replica). They're quite awkward to hold.

No, everyone is not complaining about how Finn is holding the saber. This thread is almost two years old and hardly anybody is complaining about anything.

Aside from a handful of grumps complaining about JJ and Disney supposedly 'dissing' the prequels this has a very positive thread.

People are excited about this movie.
