This pilot looks familiar.

The girls reminds me of Bespin, but the soldiers in the back is something new.

The new rumors sound plausible...not this "Luke kills Han" stuff.

All these pictures are very encouraging that they're doing this right. Love that they're actually building real models instead of just using cgi for everything. The real thing always looks better on film. The costumes look good too.
Urge to see this, rising.

This is a massive Disney crossover event. The villain is Mickey Mouse from Fantasia fully powered. And the Jedi need Thor's help to gather the Infinity Stones in order to defeat him.

If this part is true: Luke can
[Show spoiler]"literally move mountains or bring down ships with merely a glance"
, then I think he's officially the most powerful Force user of all time. Even Yoda couldn't do that. Yoda displayed immense Force powers in Episode II, III, and V - but if it's literally effortless, that's a level of power we haven't seen so far in any Star Wars movie, by anyone.

No wonder the Emperor wanted him so bad.

Darth Sideous = Darth Plagious. Or at least I like to think so. Or at least he was the apprentice of Darth Plagious. He told the story like he was reliving it.

But if Luke can literally move mountains or bring down ships with a glance, then Luke is the most powerful of all time. If Sidious were capable of that, he would have blinked and wiped out Yoda in 0.5 seconds in Episode III. If Sidious were that powerful he'd have had no need for an apprentice (despite the "rule of two"). He could take out entire armies without moving a muscle.

No, Plagueis was an actual character and Sidious was his apprentice right up until the PT.

Abrams already destroyed Vulcan, I guess he could have the film start out with the Sith taking out Star Fleet with a third Death Star.

As of now, Vader is still the most powerful Force user, at least more powerful than Sidious.

Sidious to Yoda: "Darth Vader will become more powerful than either of us."

Let's see if that will change in Episode VII.

That was before Vader got cut the **** up by Obi-Wan. He's literally lost some of his midichlorians so he's not as powerful as he could've been, not to mention him not being able to use Sith lightning because it'd fry his electronic components.

But Luke has had that latent power passed on to him (as has Leia, although I like the idea of her being a "seer" rather than some badass 'saber-wielding biatch) and IMO the only logical thing to do from a storytelling POV was to make Luke the baddest mofo of them all and then see how he deals with that power.

After his injuries he was 80% as powerful as Sidious, if he was more powerful than Sidious he would have overthrown him long ago.

I wonder iff JJ is going to bring back Darth Vader in some way. It makes more sense to bring back Sidious/Palpatine with a clone, but bringing back Vader would be sacrilegious --- and yet Star Wars without Vader just doesn't quite seem like Star Wars.
