Were there two of these Droids in Clone Wars? The only pink one I remember was the one from D-Squad called QT-KT (Qutee Katie) and she belonged to Master Aayla Secura.

http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/QT-KT

I never noticed an R2-KT before, so can someone please clarify this for me? Or are they just the same droid with a different name?

They renamed R2-KT to QT-KT in The Clone Wars so people wouldn't confuse the two R2s. And now QT-KT and R2-KT both exist as different droids.

The MSW outline is coming more and more into focus. The Falcon crash landing on the Starkiller base planet.

I guess this shot will come after the Falcon blasts through the trees that we've seen in earlier spots.

The Santikos Palladium Star Wars Marathon screening I'm attending is going to be projected using the new Barco Laser-Illuminated Projection system. The system, from what little I understand, was created to address darkness complaints with 3D films, and because there's no lamp, over time it should reduce operating costs for theaters. It also allegedly projects sharper images with more vivid colors and truer, deep blacks...

Has anyone here seen a LIP screening of anything? I'd appreciate your impressions.

No rating yet here from the BBFC, but apparently we can get away with more as a PG in this country (Jurassic Park, The 5th Element, Last Crusade) so i wonder if this film is going to be rated 12A or the lower cert. I think i'm correct in saying that it is also only the second film of 7 to be rated PG13, the other being Revenge Of The Sith...

I may have to watch Fallon then, even if I tend to avoid late night talk shows, most of the interviews are just not very interesting.

Did you know Spielberg has seen The Force Awakens 3 times, and he says it could be the greatest movie of all time.

Apparently, Spielberg actually said it could be the "biggest" movie of all time, not the "greatest". A lot of sites have been misquoting this.

As an aside: Peter at SlashFilm said our previous translation of the French quote might have been incorrect. We translated one word to greatest but sure enough when I checked with my French speaking brother-in-law the word more correctly translates to “biggest”. Doesn’t really change the quote but there it is. – Amanda
Oh, so it's more click bait nonsense...

I think Spielberg's saying "greatest" as in the "biggest" movie of all time (link says the same thing). But all the same, nice to know he's seen it three times and is probably advising Abrams in some capacity.

Liam, the fact that the new film is PG 13 is important, because it took Spiderman 2's mega-box office and PG13 rating to convince Lucas that a PG13 Star Wars film wasn't a total gamble. The fact that Lucasfilm are more than comfortable to have Abrams create a PG13 film suggests they comfortable losing a minor amount of market share to parents who don't want to take very young children to see the film.
