So if I'm reading the Titter "Buzz" correctly, Ep. 7 is better than any of the prequels, but not as good as Ep.4-6. About what I would've guessed. This is one of those, let's try to right the ship again franchise pics, and maybe we'll get a little more out of Ep.8-9.

Pretty much what fans were hoping for. Better than the crappy 1-3 but at least on par with 4-6. I doubt any movie will ever replace 4-6 in fan's hearts.

I've seen multiple tweets saying it's on par with Jedi, better than Jedi, and some ranking it 2nd behind empire. I also read tweets after the dark knight rises premiere comparing tdkr to the godfather, so...

Sounds about like the Internet to me. Each subsequent prequel was "better than the last one," yet not as great as Episodes IV-V, yet still "better than Jedi," and then they each seemingly dropped lower and lower in fan-estimation with each passing year. Given that trend, I'm rather expecting this one to follow suit as well, whether actually deserved or not.

I added the poll early and I never to do that. Somebody made a redundant SW The Force Awakens with a poll. I needed to add the poll to this thread before the merge. V bulletin sucks with polls and if I start editing, it does not work well... messes the entire poll .
