I love George Lucas. It makes me sad that he sounds so butt-hurt that JJ and Kasdan decided to go in a different direction than his idea.

I'm not sure that's the case. George saw the film and seems to have actually really liked it, and changed his tune. I'd imagine it would get VERY tiring to hear how terrible you are for the last 15 years. So yeah... I'd have sour grapes too for a while.

He lost his vote when he recieved $4 Billion. Now he can go buy the rights to Flash Gordon.

i just wish Lucas will someday be able to say in what direction he would have taken the saga, if he hadn't sold Lucasfilm. I'm sure it would have been a far more interesting direction - even if the Lucasbashers probably would have hated it. But he might not be able to speak freely, depending on the contract he signed with Disney
