Hey, look what is considered a film today - crappy films = crappy reviews. But his review does tie into what Lucas said - the fans will love it because nothing has really changed, just new names and a new paint job. I'm willing to give it a chance but that review does reinforce what I thought the film would be like.

They're saving him for his own spinoff movie where he awakens from a cryogenic sleep 1000 years in the future where the Ewoks are now the masters of the dark side of the force who have enslaved the human race. They've already cast Bradley Cooper, Anna Kendrick, Chris Evans, Megan Fox, Oprah Winfrey, Judd Nelson and Molly Ringwald in key roles.

Here is my prediction on who really is Kylo Ren and the mysterious disappearance of Luke Skywalker.
Ultimately, Luke Skywalker is Kylo Ren. Many would argue, why then, is Adam Driver cast and billed as playing Kylo Ren? A very easy answer: The same way that Darth Vader was actually played by numerous actors. For example, in Return of the Jedi, 3 actors (not including stunts) played Darth Vader. You had the person actually putting on the costume (David Prowse), the voice (James Earl Jones), and Sebastian Shaw, who played Darth Vader unmasked at the end of the film. We’ve all seen behind-the-scenes pictures of Adam Driver in the Kylo Ren costume and I suspect that he (Driver) will be cast the same way that David Prowse was. Hence, Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) will actually be Kylo Ren. I am going to see it tomorrow night in 3D and will not read any more forums today, as I don’t want to know any spoilers. I predict that the film will make over $1 Billion in the U.S. and almost $3 Billion worldwide, making it the # 1 box office movie all time both nationally and worldwide. |

I know there were rumors months ago, but do Ewoks or Wicket appear in the movie in any capacity whatsoever? LOVE Ewoks and can't get enough of them!
I have tickets for the 23rd DBOX, can't wait! I'm gonna have to avoid reading anything online because I may have(unless they were just trolls) just found out about a character death ![]() |

I finally saw it, had to get up at 5:45 AM, get the 7:00 AM Hydrofoil to Messina and take a tram and then a bus to catch the 11:30AM 2D showing at the local UCI Multiplex so I would be able to get back to my little island the same day but it was worth it: few people and none of them children or talkative ********s.
I really liked the movie, it's pretty much a JJ Abrams movie, lots of winks and fanservice but, thanks to a much better screeplay than the two trek movies, neither is too intrusive or out of context (like the I AM KHAAAN scene), also I didn't notice blatantly facepalmy moments when it comes to plot (like the Kirk promotion at the end of the first movie). Rey and Finn do their job and while they come as reasonably badass they aren't infallible mary sues that can do no wrong (like Kirk in the first trek movie), Dameron doesn't really do much, and the old cast thankfully isn't overused. Kylo Ren is an interesting bad guy, he is imposing when it is needed but he's also very unstable, I dare say he is almost a metatextual "take that" at Sith fanboys, but he is also a tragic figure (there is a scene towards the end in particular that highlights this). |

However, the Coruscant battle is my favorite opening and it was one big thing I looked forward to the most in the prequels (next to the Anakin-vs-Obi-Wan fight). So those are two things Ep III had...out of many other things. |
