Especially with Abrams' camp, where deceit is a major player with information. Look at the Khan business with 'Star Trek Into Darkness'. I'll wait until we have official word, but I could see there being a chance of it happening. I really wish we'd get some actual news soon though, all this secrecy is really getting excessive. We need less rumors and more actual information to latch on to.

I would be on board with this, but the dude is already Khan in Trek. He picked his franchise. I don't want any Star Trek actors in the the new Star Wars at all, it's too strange. Sorry Simon Pegg. Having the same guy helm both franchises is crazy enough.

Simon Pegg said he didn't want to be in it anyway. Benedict Cumberbatch and JJ Abrams are the only crossovers I know of, and Cobblepot is denying as of now.

I don't care if it has people from Star Trek in it, I just want the best actors they can get. Cumberbatch was one of the few great things about Star Trek Into Darkness and he's a great actor. He'd be a great addition to Episode VII.

Two more names to add to the rumored cast list for J.J. Abrams' sci-fi epic "Star Wars: Episode VII" today.

Former "Spartacus" star Liam McIntyre has reportedly read for a Jedi role, while Ksenia Solo (Black Swan) is apparently in contention for the role of Leia and Han Solo's daughter.

I'd love for McIntyre to take up one of the lead roles. His acting in Spartacus was pretty great, especially during the last season. Haven't seen any of Ksenia Solo's work as of yet.

didn't that bridge get crossed when JJ decided to direct it? or, I don't know, 30 years ago when ILM started doing special effects for them and Star Wars stuff started appearing in Trek films and Trek stuff started appearing in Star Wars films?

Actually, there is only one Luke Skywalker, and if they hired anyone besides Mark Hammil to play him, I would go to the premier, sit in the street just off the red carpet, pour kerosene on myself, and set myself on fire.
