[Show spoiler]Andy Serkis’ character basically looks like an old man, zombie like, almost risen from the dead.

He is being referred to as “Uber”, similarly to how Ridley is being called Kira and Nyong’o is being called Rose.

“Uber” has communication with Adam Driver’s Sith character, and a character played by Domhnall Gleeson. Serkis potentially is the Master pulling the strings from behind the scenes.

All three characters are part of the new “Empire” which Gwendoline Christie’s character is also a part of. She is confirmed to be playing a Chrome Trooper.

SpoilerMan flat out said Serkis' character is not Plagueis. If we can actually believe him that is. But this is fun I'll just go along with it.

What's the damage control? Forcing Reddit to take the posts down? If the guy is a Bad Robot or LucasFilm or Disney employee violating his NDA's, he's a complete idiot (assuming anything he says is true...some people are extremely gifted liars).

Relax...I assume that they will stop anymore info from getting out...but if they don't know who Spoilerman is he may continue under different names...

Spoilerman has said:

security has been stepped up after the posts appeared online, and "They practically interrogated a couple of us regarding possible leaks," as Lucasfilm has gone into full damage control."

Still he could have made that up, so that people will think he was legit. Unless this news about damage control came from another party. But who knows.

If this is true (and especially if everything Spoilerman is saying is true) I think this is great. It's great to see someone spoiling everything for Mr. Super-Secretive, JJ.

It's really not great though...If any of this is true, it's sad that all the hard work being put into this film is being put online a year in advanced of its opening. People don't remember what it was like to not have information about our movies so far in advanced. Before the Internet. I appreciate that Abrams just wants to try and make movies that way again. We shouldn't have to know everything up front, but the internet has given people a complex and they think they have to know what's going on. It's sad, in my opinion. You guys hate the mystery box, I get it. But I see it as Abrams trying to preserve the filmgoing experience that he had growing up, and one many of us shared as well.

It's great to see someone spoiling it for one of the few filmmakers left who goes through great lengths to make the first time viewing experience special? Even if you don't like his films, how could you not appreciate a director being secretive in order to preserve surprises?

At age 50 now, I see this and completely agree with Walts Ghost. The excitement of seeing the movie and its surprises was, well, ...exciting!

The more I see that lightsaber, the more I like it. There's something raw and violent about it which makes it far more interesting than any of the other ones we've seen.

It's almost like Adam Driver constructed it will all the anger, shame, and disgust in having to make out with Lena Dunham in "Girls."

There is a difference between seeking out spoilers, and having them thrust upon you. If you're reading Spoilerman's stuff, you're actively seeking them.

If you're reading a thread about a movie that hasn't come out, its because you want to know more about it then you're not really looking to be completely surprised.

To be completely surprised, you would avoid articles, forums, and yes--teaser trailers--because teasers and trailers ALWAYS reveal something that would have surprised you later in the film. Maybe not drastically, but seeing Darth Maul dancing around in the trailer took away from the 'surprise' you could have had when he first was revealed to you.
