Okay, then from now on only white actors will be allowed to portray CGI mo-cap characters. Problem solved.

If it were up to Andy Serkis every CGI character would be played by the same white actor.

That's consistent with other leaked art that has been floating around. Here's another:

And there's yet another in this spoiler/fan guess picture from makingstarwars:

[Show spoiler]There's some debate as to whether we're looking at a "pub" a "castle", or a "pirate lair", etc..

George Lucas' treatment of the new trilogy begins with the new generation as twenty-somethings. That is in conflict with the Vanity Fair article that the original treatment from Lucas had the new generation as teenagers, and that JJ Abrams changed them to be in their twenties. Is it false reporting from Vanity Fair's part?

This interview by Stephen Colbert was done weeks before the Vanity Fair report.

I love how casual Lucas was towards it, especially with regards to the trailers. If I had created a franchise and handed it over to someone else, I would be the first in line to see what they had done with it.

Tiger, I'm pretty sure that guy could just pick up his phone and ask Kathy for the screenplay, or even the current workprint. He's walking it like he talked it in Revenge of the Sith...learning to let go.

Anyhoo...since no one has posted this yet, this video claims to have cracked the plot of Episode VII. Take with a grain of salt, but it was entertaining. Better than the junk Aint It Cool and Latino Review have been peddling...I'm calling crap on it, but still, it was entertaining...

This "plot leak" is screwed in the first few seconds, since Carrie Fisher is in the movie...

Why would anybody believe anything AICN says, they still probably think 90 % of the footage shot for Phantom Menace was blurry or some such garbage.

That's a few weeks old, but if you really want to be spoiled in terms of what the most complete and coherent plot summary is, according to the various leaked info sources online, here it is, but be warned, they go through the whole movie (scroll down to the last 2 posts, if it doesn't automatically do so).

AICN hasn't had any exclusives for years, really. Most of the leaks that have turned out to be true about EPVII originated on theforce.net, indierevolver, reddit, starwars7news, and makingstarwars. Everyone else has been filtering, compiling, and repeating info from there.

I guess I'm just shocked AICN is even still around. It's the K-Mart of movie news websites.

It really is one of those strange tales of the internet, and one day there'll be a movie about the rise and fall of Harry Knowles, I kid you not. It's interesting though that hatred and contempt for the guy seems to be reflexive now, but it's mostly his fault. Yet he's still connected, and still has famous friends.

They reported the DP put the wrong lens on the eyepiece of the camera, and so he wasn't seeing what was actually shot...as if they wouldn't catch that in dailies, to say nothing of video feeds. It's one of the most epically moronic "news stories" ever distributed by a fan site. In other news...apparently Christopher Walken is playing Darth Bane in Episode II, the title of Episode VII is "The Ancient Fear", the title of Episode III is "The Creeping Fear", the title of Episode II is "The Dark Side Rises", Leo is going to be Anakin, lather rinse repeat...

God how I wish they would have gotten that right. In hindsight, I think he would've done a far better job with the role.

It also suggests that the children, one played by Daisy Ridley are in their thirties during the movie. I think she's playing younger that than her age, she's 23. I didn't go much further than that. I don't think we'll see events jump 30 thirty years in the movies (we may see a flashback), especially if they feature the original cast. As fond of them as I am, they can't pull off 1983 again!

I heard a few details, it seems he is just glad that he will be able to watch a Star Wars movie without having to work on it.

Lucas deserves credit for letting Star Wars go (like Yoda says), into the hands of Disney and the new Lucasfilm Ltd, so more stories could be developed with a fresh vision of adventure and hopefully not bogged down by too much politics like Lucas was concerned with in I, II and III. I see where he was going with how to keep an eye on corruption, and that's a great theme, but I imagine there are more exciting ways to tell that story outside of senate debates.

The new StormTroopers and Sniper look awesome IMO. Along with the new Sith. Can't wait to see the original cast return of the Rebels.
Here's hoping Yoda makes a cameo, along with Obi Wan, and possibly Darth Vader's spirit. And the Emperor. I'm guessing they won't blast it all in one movie though, but pace it.

Excellent post!

That image reinforces why I thank George Lucas for giving me so much more than he's ever taken away.

Rock on Georgie!
