Matt Lanter might sound like Anakin, but he doesn't look a damn thing like Christiansen.

Nearly every actor to work on a Star Wars film has been critical of it at some point. The only exceptions are maybe Warwick Davis and Mark Hamill who were always really enthusiastic about the films as far as I know. I think the problem is that the characters become so iconic that it gets tough for anyone to accept the actors in other roles. It's almost a stigma that only the best actors can shake off. Natalie Portman has said that it nearly ruined her career.

:EDIT:

Not to mention the fact that the fanatics can get really annoying.

:2nd EDIT:

And that these films are partly inspired by serial and B-movie acting.

It was from an article about Hayden and Episode III in 2005. The author wrote that Hayden read the script for Episode II and voiced his concerns to Lucas, who told him that was the story, that was the character. Hayden wasn't trashing Lucas, he just had a different idea of who Anakin was when he signed on for the films. He took the role before the scripts were written.

The fate of Jar Jar Binks is revealed in the new Disney Infinity game. During the "Rise of the Empire" campaign you can find him
[Show spoiler]encased securely in carbonite on Jabba's Palace wall.

Now while this may not be strictly "canon" in terms of his real fate, take solace in the fact that it IS canon until his fate is revealed in some other way by Disney.

Disney themselves stated that all games, books, TVs series, movies etc were canon from the time they took control of Lucasfilm.

[Show spoiler]

Trying to think of ways that I can get my gf to see this with me. She isn't into any type of sci-fi at all. Maybe I can temp her with the idea of IMAX. She does love some IMAX...

Mike Klimo has been invited by Lucasfilm to write on the official site. Here's his first article:

Even Hamill was frustrated. I remember in the old PB 'making of' book how he blew up at Kershner & said something like, "I'm not even going to see this stupid movie."
