Too much, Disney! Too much!

Had to watch it, though. Exciting tease. There's nothing really too revealing, which is nice... but I feel like the closer we get to December 18th, Disney is going to show a little too much. They did with Avengers: Age of Ultron, so I hope they don't do it here. Who isn't sold on this movie already? We don't need to be bombarded with new footage.

Yeah, we can choose not to watch (most of the time), but new footage isn't needed. There will be more in time, too. It's like trying to sell a car to someone who just signed papers, took the keys, and drove off the lot. It's unnecessary.

I didn't have my tickets booked until a couple of nights ago. I tried to book decent seats with three friends but every showing was pretty much fully booked with only seats right at the very front. I would advise you book your tickets now and don't underestimate this film's hype like I did.

When the prequels came out, I remember they released the beginning crawl early. I wonder if they'll do it with this one.

Of all the vehicles, I think the first appearance of the AT-ATs, in the Empire trailers waaaaaaay back in the day, sparked more excitement than any. A mix of fear/awe/excitement to be honest! They might even supplant the X-wing as the #1 seed for me!

I'm avoiding the opening weekend rush, by going at 3 in the morning. I want to see what kind of weirdo shows up for a 3am showing.

Disney is showing far too much. They could've given one trailer and then just used tv spots of the logo and the theme and still smash worldwide records.

What do you mean? You can see from all the pics that it's clearly Luke's 'saber which he lost in Cloud City, it's the film's MacGuffin as I understand it.

Once it opens in China in January, I don't think that's going to be an issue.
