Title under username/Ranks - Blu-ray Forum

To the Moderator or whoever the "Power that be" is at Blu-ray.com: I notice that members are assigned different classifications, like me, for example, a "Junior member".

What are the names of the different classifications, and how, out of curiosity, does one rise from one to the next higher up, and on?

Well "Expert Members" need to show proof of a 1500 SAT and at least a 35 ACT plus a PhD in something important regardless of if it is relevant to blu-ray(mine is in Contemporary Political Theory Applied to Modern Family Structures). A "Special Member" is somebody we feel bad for so we make them feel good by calling them special. A Blu-Ray Guru is somebody that the BDA goes to for advice. A "Moderator" or "Super Moderator" is somebody who can shut me down for being so ridiculous.

Really though, it's based on the number of posts.
After you get about 20, you are a member. You than have active member, power member, expert member, special member, etc.. (I don't remember them all or the order of them).
I have noticed some that are unique and I assume they were given by a moderator.

Just as long as no one takes Gold Member

It is based on post count and not knowing when you change ranks and titles is part of the surprise, plus knowing these things just increases peoples post whoring in an effort just to raise their "rank"

It means that when someone signed up to the forum they put your name in as the person that referred them to the forum.

Also, how do you do that thing where you list at the bottom of your post the different equipment and BDs you own, without having to type the info in every time you post?

What if someone has 150 posts hasn't posted in 2 months? Is he still considered active, or does he change to Inactive Member?

What is this scale based on? It looks like some sort of exponential scale but my Ph.D. is in The Application of Alcoholic Beverages in Human Reproductive Theory (i.e., barhopping looking for gals) and not mathematics.

I was hoping I'm going to get a new title when I get to 800. How about "Graveyard Shift Member"?

When a female reaches 5000 posts, will she become Blu-ray Queen?

Does this post count against my post total? Or are we having a BOGO deal?
