I've been done with AVS for a while now, and don't go over there, so I won't see these posts.

But I'm willing to bet that none of the posters who are rude to Max get suspended or banned or even have their posts removed. OTOH if they were rude in exactly the same way to Amir, they'd get punished. That is the kind of treatment that made me leave. Alan Gouger seems like a good guy, and I never got the impression he favoured HD DVD, but if he can't get his mods under control and running a fair forum, he will lose business. He lost mine.

Dun know if you are at all involved with the Marketing guys at Sony or the BDA Max, but very well done.

Don't know if anyone else has noticed, but the Blu Ray commercials for movies on TV are almost non stop.
Good way to educate the consumer about who's leading in this "war"

Within a 2 or 3 hour period, I've seen (AMC and another channel) 3:10 to Yuma, Resident Evil:E, Good Luck Chuck, War, the Warner Blade Runner that showcases a Blu, I think 1 or two more and the PS3 one that specifically presents it like a Blu Ray player

From what I can see that pretty much sums up the situation over there. Max, why subject yourself to that nonsense?

Yeah, I subbed back to that thread today. I had valid reply/question to Amir that was not answered and was deleted the first time. They let the same bastards castrate Max over and over again, what a joke. BIASED.

At lease of the posters stuck and called it what it was.

It wont matter, once BD has won they wont have an insiders thread.

Its the same staus quo, challenge amir, gets deleted. Challenge any BD insider it does not and is allowed to continue.

After my "infraction", I have left AVS land for good. It is not as if the information there was really any good in the first place, and not being able to speak the truth when it is evident is a sign of a fanboy run website. I have not a whit of patience for fanboy's and do not need to support (even indirectly through ads) sites run by them!

I was following along on AVS as well, thanks Max for the posting spree. To be honest, I learn a lot more here where you are able to provide new information than on AVS where you're drawn into correcting previously corrected misinformation or into educating those feigning ignorance.

Noticed that too. I haven't spent much time looking around over there but this has been a real eye opener for me. I won't be going back there anytime soon.

I recieved a "warning" for suggesting that AVS was biased, although in general I feel that it's the usership of the HDM pages that is biased, with the occasional moderator action that worsens the issue.
