Just watched Ghostbusters last night in 4K with HDR and thought that looked awesome. Then I put in Pacific Rim this morning and damn 4K HDR just keeps getting better.

Ok I checked my Pacific Rim 4K and it shows that is has Portuguese audio and has both Portuguese and Portuguese (Brazil) subtitles. Have a good one!

And my local Best Buy just got Pacific Rim in. Ordered for in store pickup, so hopefully they actually have it.

Just got my copy in the mail yesterday, will go ahead and redeem to get UHD added to my digital library so my family can also benefit from it.

It looks like stores in my area got 2-3 copies, and my store promptly sold out (I bought the last copy). Managed to get my purchase of Ghostbusters earlier in the week returned/exchanged to take advantage of the BOGO deal, so got one of the movies for $15. :P

So is this release missing the second disc of special features from the standard bluray? It says it is included (based on the back of the box), however Man of Steel and Watchmen listed stuff that was missing, so...

Yes. The HDR is incredible. It is a demo disc despite the fact it uses a 2K DI. Hold onto your old set tho, as this release is missing the second bonus features disc.

The back of the Pacific Rim UHD box doesn't say a second disc of features is included. It only talks about 13 featurettes and a director's commentary.

Per the HighDefDigest review, all the things mentioned on the back of the box are included. But, you're right, a second disc of special features (which was included on previous releases) is not present...but this second disc is not mentioned on the back of the UHD box.

Fair enough, but why can't they just make a definitive edition that is worth upgrading to? Warner's handling of UHD discs is awful. Fox and Sony can manage to include everything on the previous releases.

Decided to skip this... I'm sure it looks great but I'm not very fond of the movie (would give it a 6/10) and I think I have enough "reference" UHD titles that I'm going to stop buying movies just for the PQ.

I am finally seeing it your way. After double even triple dipping this week on uhds. I need to stop buying them just for pq. I like this movie, but I really need to stop double dipping unless it's a 4k Master. Who knows, maybe one day they'll release a 4k remastered ultimate version.

Does this have true HDR? It says it has HDR but it's triggering it on my Samsung K8500 or my Sony Bravia XBR55XC or whatever. Anyone have an idea?
