I know the movie has Dolby Atmos as same theatrical Atmos.

Yes, this movie contains Dolby Atmos. Unfortunarely, I dont have an atmos system. That is why I didn't mention it.

I expected nothing less.

Though I'll probably prefer the 3D version as usual with 3D movies.

I just watched it and would agree. Not a huge difference in detail/resolution. But color? Man this looks great. The computer displays practically jump off the screen.

I admit I went almost immediately to the battle in Hong Kong, where the neon skyline is just made for HDR and wide color gamut. I had to squint my eyes everytime they fired the plasma cannon.

The cockpit interiors also benefit greatly from HDR, with the balance between the dark suits and the bright displays damn impressive.

Yea I noticed it to and I pre ordered it through Amazon and I have prime and still has not shipped. Makes me wonder if this and Jupiter Ascending is going to be hard to get right away.

I know man, I had pre-order for pick up at Best Buy but had to change to shipping, they do not have it in stock (As per website but sometimes info is incorrect)

I picked up a copy this morning at Frys, they list it at $40.99, but no problem price matching Best Buy. Digital Copy redeems with either Flixster or Vudu from wbredeem.com. I only had a chance to watch a few scenes but for my money the UHD disc is noticeably better than the UHD Vudu copy or the Bluray, the HDR (I think) is the reason. It does make me happy each time my TV tells me an HDR video is playing. Turns out even the menus are HDR on this disc.

I think mad max had a similar 4k delay. Wasn't available in store the day it came out.

For some reason at the moment Amazon Spain has the best prices for new UHD discs in Europe. When importing from there from outside EU the VAT is subtracted which pays for all or part of the shipping.

I canceled pre-ordered at Amazon. I think Bestbuy Store have stock it.
