Yeah. But that's why WB probably decided to become MGM's strategic partner again, especially after Amazon's acquisition of MGM and De Luca and Adby's departure from the studio for WB, right? Just like Fox becoming MGM's strategic partner in 2000 after the latter terminated their old HE deal with WB and their stake in UIP.

So that explains Rocky UHD BD coming from WBD. Do we know anything about Dances and Thelma?
As has been mentioned elsewhere since I posted this, Rocko coming from Warner may have little/nothing to do with the MGM deal and everything to do with Warner being a co-financier on the Creed films.

Warner has US distribution rights to MGM’s titles in the US. Some new to video titles have been handled by Universal under a seperate deal. Warner is also just a an international distributor for Creed III, they and their New Line Cinema division are no longer production partners.

For new theatricals? I'm talking about catalog home vid releases.

Are you aware of any besides Rocky that Warner is releasing for MGM on UHD BD? Don't think so.

That's only because MGM doesn't release their catalog titles on home video themselves very often anymore, as they are all licensed to 3rd party labels. Rocky is an exception.

Warner also handled the final season of Vikings for MGM, for example.

Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, Skyfall, and Spectre taking over from Fox. New pressings have Warner art.

The Daniel Craig James Bond five movie set also is distributed by Warner.

Non-“Craig Bonds.” Those pictures are obviously a huge carve out/exception because of EON.

This is all/what I needed, thanks. Can’t keep up with all of contemporary television.

WB reprinted the complete line of EON films. It's just difficult for search engines to handle. The UPC numbers share the same first 12 digits.

With Warner Bros. distributing all MGM product on physical media worldwide and MGM's new theatrical releases internationally, does that mark a new strategic alliance between the two companies?

Will there be MGM 100th anniversary collection sets in 2024 that include both the pre-1986 and post-1986 MGM libraries, and maybe the United Artists, Cannon, Orion and PolyGram libraries as well? I read in the "Warner Bros. 100th Anniversary" thread on the forum that WB's George Feltenstein said a classic MGM anniversary celebration is in the works for 2024 in his podcast this month, after WB's 100th anniversary in 2023.

Surprised the Amazon purchase of MGM hasn’t affected much, especially their home video output.

Because preconceived biases about companies create ill conceived thoughts about the future.

Amazon supports theatrical releases for some films, Amazon supports physical media, and their purchase of MGM only affected some MGM titles.

More physical releases being sold on their website = More moolah for Amazon

Only thing is, some of their originals (like Late Night, Beautiful Boy) still don’t have US disc releases.

Does anyone know what happened to United Artists Releasing now? I mean, their logo is nowhere to be seen on the posters and trailers for Creed III and A Good Person, and their website currently redirects to MGM's website. Is the company dead? Did Amazon dissolve it in their restructuring of MGM?

United Artists is dead. For now, it appears Orion is still alive.

Wasn't Amazon supposed to keep UA alive? It was an iconic brand, so can't they give UA Releasing a second chance, since it was set up as an alternative distribution option to streamers and the studio system if filmmakers want to release their own movies on the big screen?
