Also maybe because i went into service menu, lowered sub brightness to 127, then raised brightness 1 click, followed by adjusting 5 IRE reduced the issue. |

I dare say that the "lights on" thing you mentioned is the reason why most folks put up with these issues, it's because they can't even see them with the curtains open and sunlight streaming in and bouncing off the TV. It makes a mockery of the "perfect black" mantra in the process, it's also the reason why LCD's poor black levels aren't usually noticed by said folks.

No worries, I'm replacing the damn thing with an HZ2000 as soon as some stock gets into the UK again (current estimate is next month). I'll be keeping the E6 for 3D though, which thankfully really helps mask the near black issues amongst other things that annoy me about the set.

Money should not be an issue but who knows what will happen in 5-7 years from now. Though wouldn't they make them in 55''-65''? |

![]() ![]() As far as smaller sizes - maybe sometime in the future. People are buying bigger TVs. That trend isn't going to change. |

Micro LED won’t even be superior to a Sony BVM CRT, yet alone any OLED. As for popularity, I’m sure people will eat it up.

Disagree. As an ex-owner of 2 Panasonic DX902 (LED-LCD), I miss them every bit as I love my current Panasonic OLED. I was fortunate to do a side by side of DX and Philips 2019 OLED, and they were neck and neck. Remember, DX902 is the only consumer LED-LCD that can do 880 nits full field sustained for minutes and almost 0 cd/m2 blacks.
