I plan on buying Sony's new Mastering Monitor BVM-HX3110. We'll use it at our 2023 TV and Projector Shootout Evaluation events and when we are calibrating TVs for our clients.

That's because sharpness setting at minimum will vary between manufacturers, and you don't want to be unnaturally softening the image. That'll be why you've seen so many answers. Sharpness on 0 on a LG is not the same as 0 on a Sony. |

They earn money this way and us slating just because we disagree is not going to change anything. They have to be diplomatic, otherwise they risk being uninvited and alienated.
