[quote=Vilya;23327087]Because you are obsessed with Sony. Anyone
The above comparison video is classic example of what I just mentioned. This review is very favorable to Sony 8Ii over the LG G5. This man all but admits to being biased towards Sony. Also, if you read some of the comments, probably from Sony fanboys and cult members, NOT ONE MENTION OF REFERENCE DISPLAY, just as I said Last edited by Auditor55; 07-22-2025 at 05:33 PM. |

This man is biased and pro-Sony. I didn't hear any mention of a reference monitor. He also said Sony sent him a Bravia 8II for review and that he had to buy an LG G5, which makes him biased. About a month ago, I heard him on with FOMO attacking Rtings' honest review of the Bravia 8II, where they opined that it wasn't an upgrade to the A95L. If you read some of the comments from all the fanboys, sycophants, and cult members, not one mention of a reference monitor. Some of the YouTubers posing as professional reviewers are nothing more than paid advertisers, to glaze Sony TVs so much so that they continue to jack up prices. Sony's New 2025 BRAVIA 8 II, model # XR80M2 has the new 2025 4th Generation QD OLED panel that is brighter and more energy efficient then the 2024 QD OLED panel.
Sony's New 2025 flagship BRAVIA 8 II is brighter and is the upgrade for the A95L in the 65" and 55" class. |

I'm not anti Sony. Sony makes good TVS, however they are, in my opinion, way overpriced in comparison to the competition. The comparison between the Samsung S90F and Sony's alleged 2025 flagship QD-OLED, the Bravia 8 MK Ii, conducted by Rtings, was pretty much adraw, however Bravia 8II is significantly more than the S90F. Sony is tone deaf and have run amok. Last edited by Auditor55; 07-23-2025 at 08:14 PM. |

Having said that, he's similar to me as in he's probably pro consumer, whereas, someone like you is more company guy or pro company. Last edited by Auditor55; 07-23-2025 at 08:30 PM. |

I did not watch this review because I am not in the market for a TV at this time, but try your hardest to realize that it is possible for someone to sincerely like a Sony TV. I am one of them myself. Apparently, you claim to be one yourself: |

Nobody is forced to pay too much for a top tier TV. These are luxury items, not necessities. If anyone feels that Sony's TVs cost too much then they can reject them and buy from a competitor or wait for a sale. There are plenty of options. We are all presumably adults here that are fully capable of deciding for ourselves how much a TV is worth; we do not need a self-appointed advocate.
Sony will price their products consistent with the demand for them. Last edited by Vilya; 07-23-2025 at 09:47 PM. |

Bravia 8 II review: https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/so...-test-compared Samsung S95 review: https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/sa...-test-compared Rtings said this in their comparison of the two: "The Samsung S95F OLED is better than the Sony BRAVIA 8 II OLED in most ways." Best Buy currently shows the exact same price for both TVs in the 65" size: $3299.99. Rtings.com review for the mid level Samsung S90F makes no comparison to the Sony Bravia 8 II: https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/sa...-test-compared I can not find any Rtings.com review that compares the Sony Bravia 8 II to the Samsung S90F, but I did find a comparison review of the two TVs done by Home Theater Review: https://hometheaterreview.com/vs/son...25-comparison/ They prefer the Samsung S90F saying: "The Samsung S90F ultimately offers better overall value and performance for most users, delivering brighter, more vibrant images with superior gaming features at a significantly lower price. The Sony BRAVIA 8 II excels in specific areas but struggles to justify its premium pricing for most buyers." Last edited by Vilya; 07-23-2025 at 10:23 PM. |

Like Sony is the only tv manufacturer in the world that charges money for a product they produce and God forbid they try to make a profit no other company in the world wants to or needs to make a profit except the evil Sony.chevy Dodge BMW Mercedes also need to stop making cars since some on in this thread thinks it’s criminal to make a profit you don’t like it don’t buy it.
