If the models in question are considered premium then they are. There's not really any arguing that point. And you don't seem to be leveling AN argument. Beyond perhaps some generic primate gesture of allegience to or against certain camps... "brands" in this case.

Which is a shame, because their QD-OLED panels are great. It's just the way Samsung puts their TVs together as a whole I'm not a fan of. Last edited by oddbox83; 03-21-2023 at 08:50 AM. |

Well, Samsung's 2022 QD was brighter with punchier (aka overbaked) colours than Sony's too. It didn't make it a better TV than Sony's A95K which runs the same panel slightly dimmer, but better in many ways.
I suspect the exact same is happening this year. If all you want is the nits and pop, then fill yer boots. Last edited by oddbox83; 03-27-2023 at 09:04 AM. |

Really shaping up... for sure. G3 is actually seeming like a surprisingly appealing choice given brightness increase MLA, heatsink implementation and personally the specials in my market really were as favourable in the 55" inch range as I hoped. So this time next year I'd be able to buy @ $2000-2500 AUD.
Wild to get DV with 1000 nits + for that price. And get Samsung QD for same price on special. Again both TV's for less than the special price of a 65" Sony A95K in the current cycle. |
