Looks like I will be waiting till maybe 2026 for a 4K
Sony have lost their minds, a flagship model but only 65” Is this 2010?! Hopefully there are some better flagship models for 2026 from Sony and more. Nothing has impressed me in the last few years with 4K panels. IMO, they all look and feel cheap. |

Sony does not pay any YouTuber for their reviews.
They very limitedly do supply loaner TVs for reviewers that they qualify, but the TVs must be returned and no other compensation is available. Several YouTube Channel owners borrow, or purchase their TVs and audio equipment from us. Regarding Sony's New 2025 Flagship BRAVIA 8 II QD OLED TV I respectfully recommend for everyone to see the XR80M2 in any local dealer/store near your home so you can see the advancements this TV renders in the color saturation, color volume, the new higher peak luminance capability. Sony's engineer reformatted the 2nd Generation of the XR processor to take full advantage of the higher dynamic tonal range, increased color volume and color saturation. So this new flagship Sony TV delivers images from all content with more depth and detail and as I said, very accurate, but punchy/poppy, colors, with pure blacks, excellent contrast control so shadow details are easy to see. |

He is not a shill if he is sponsored by a company he comes out and says so like in the example Best Buy so he is not a shill. Just because you don’t like Sony does not mean he is a shill he does criticize Sony if you actually watched it.

I don't dislike Sony TVs. In the case of the Bravia 8 II, it's overpriced. Sony's greed has no bounds.

Sony lied, they initially said the Bravia 8 II would come at a lower price than the A95L, but upped the price on the claim of tariffs, yet none of their competitors, LG, Samsung, TCL, Panasonic, Hisense, etc., raised their prices. This company must be taken to task for its greed, it's up to consumers and reviewers, ie, YouTubers and influencers, to put Sony on blast. Stop letting Sony off the hook with "Sony Tax"; that's not funny or cute. I hope consumers send Sony a message by passing on the Bravia 8 II at $4,000 for a 65-inch set. Also, we know that on black Friday, the LG G5 and Samsung S95F, which retail at $4,500 for a 77-inch, will probably be less than the Sony 65-inch Bravia 8 II. |

I did not see my comment as a "personal attack", but rather my pointing out your typical behavior on this topic. Your post history documents your pervasive and negative opinions about every TV technology currently in existence. I am sorry that you took my comment that way, but your incessant complaining warranted criticism in my opinion. I know that you are waiting with baited breath for Micro-LED TVs to hit the market below their current six figure price tags, but the same TV manufacturers that you routinely criticize for one thing or another will be the very companies that bring them to the consumer market and you can almost certainly expect them to be offered at premium prices for a damn long time. It will be ages before you can get a Micro-LED TV at a price that you likely would consider to be fair, whatever mythical figure that is for you. What would be refreshing would be to read a comment from you that is positive for a change. Surely something must make you happy in this exciting landscape of ever evolving display technology? I did not see Sony say the BRAVIA 8 II would be lower price than the A95L, or that Sony upped the price on the claim of tariffs.
To the best of my knowledge Sony has not raised any TV prices on the claim of tariffs. Sony's New 2025 Flagship BRAVIA 8 II has the latest 2025 4th Generation of the QD OLED panel. Sony's 2nd Generation of the XR Processor was retuned to take full advantage of the increased dynamic tonal range (Increased Contrast Ration), the enhanced Color Volume and Saturation to render very accurate, but a more punchy with Sony's excellent EOTF Contrast control, and exceptional color fidelity and fully saturated colors as needed. |
