She prevented four people from fleeing a fight they wanted no part in, directly leading to their deaths. Congrats. Made even worse when you realize "hey. The first order can't even track those escape pods." Why'd she even stop them anyways? What good does that even do?

Didn't you get the memo? They all should have shut up and listened to Holdo's non-plan. So she's directly as responsible for the resistance being destroyed as Finn and Poe are.

The only reason they have to "escape" Canto Bight is because she can't keep her emotions in check long enough to park their ship where they're supposed to, instead opting to park illegally on the beach. So her fixing the mess she created isn't a plus.

Counting supplies is a thing that matters now?

Yep, then tried to make out with him while the resistance base is literally exploding in the background, potentially killing more of their allies in the process of the laser melting the door. 10/10 much usefulness.

That's not even mentioning the fact that somehow Rose was able to pilot a ship with Finn and BB8 on board that was able to get halfway across the galaxy, undetected, and didn't bother to say anything to Poe about it. It's funny no one noticed that so far. If they'd even bothered to think about that, they would have realized they could have slipped away.

The "useful" things Rose did only even happen because of her incompetence, or purposeful ignorance. That's not unique to Rose mind you, almost the entire film happens because people don't behave like human beings. So singling out Rose specifically is a bit silly. But no. She's no great character cause she likes animals.
