Mark I'm sure would do it. Harrison may take more convincing, but he was shockingly fantastic in the Lego Force Awakens game. So he has the voice acting chops. So you never know.

Same can be said about the Han Solo solo movie but that is actually being made either way.
They could make a Leia movie with Billie after the events of Revenge of the sith. Maybe 18-20 years after and leading up to Rogue/A New Hope. Would love that.

18-20 years after Revenge of the sith is a new hope. Luke and Leia are both 19 in ANH.

Pardon the pun, but the only hope they'd have at this point is with animation. The characters of Luke and Leia are so recognizable, that recasting them is practically sacreligious. Han's another story, since he was in his 30s by the events of Episode IV.

Having said that, I still want a movie about Obi-Wan's time on Tatooine. Having a cameo from Owen and maybe a 10-year-old Luke would be cool, but not necessary.

Recasting Han is an equally bad idea.

I'm just saying they have more leeway with a teenage version, since Han was older in A New Hope.

I haven't played it but was Ford really in the game, or was it just a soundalike or soundbites used from the film? If he did actually participate by recording entirely new dialog specifically for the game, then I'm impressed they were able to get him for it. I believe the only other time he's done voice acting was for the Boba Fett cartoon segment in The Star Wars Holiday Special and that was only a couple of lines. But I'd always wanted to hear him do more voice acting with that commanding voice of his. Was always surprised Disney never got him for a role in one of their animated films, although I do seem to recall an old rumor that he was going to be in Tarzan.

FYI, they're doing a Rogue One, A New Hope double feature TONIGHT at Celebration. They could easily show Rogue then go "and now for the first time, a screening of our 4k restoration of a New Hope. It'll be released theatrically in July."

Totally agree. It's my favorite panel so far. Really touching and Mark Hamill is awesome as always.

I didn't even think of that as a possibility!

Where were you with this idea earlier?!

I did not get a wristband for that this morning!

Full panic mode activated!

Didn't see the panel list until a few minutes ago on twitter. To be honest it's almost to perfect an opportunity.

What time is the screening? How long until we get closure?

OK so the session just began; hopefully fans can confirm within the next few hours whether it was just the transfer from the current Blu or the new 4K thing Gareth Edwards was shown.

Not happening. Yesterday was all about honoring the past, today was all about the future.

They wouldn't want this getting in the way of the TLJ hype from today.

Yeah maybe not. Though it would be so amazing to see A New Hope theatrically. I wasn't born to see any of the OT in the theaters. Phantom menace was my first Star Wars theatrical experience.

My dad who just graduated high school right when ANH was first released was happy when I told him about the speculated re-release. It would be so great to be able to go check it out with my dad on the big screen. Even if its not the exact movie he saw in 77

Just how it would be so cool, if in 2055 I could go see a 40th anniversary re-release of The Force Awakens with my son.... on a 100 ft screen with $35 ticket prices and $30 popcorn

Just watched Mark Hamill's tribute to Carrie Fisher. Wow. A terrific, touching and funny 50 minutes. I could listen to Hamill tell stories all day. Loved the one about parking his beat-up Mazda down the block from her parents' house and Carrie walking him around the studio after making him put on her Hoth costume and a clown mask. LOL!
