I used to have a method that involved taking all the disc cases out then after I'd watched them all when you get to the last two insert the penultimate one but don't put it completely into the box but far enough so that it won't fall out then with the last one slide it alongside the penultimate one then all discs should be back inside the box.

Now then if you can source me a copy of The League Of Gentlemen from Network on Blu for under £10 with postage consider that 'payment'. As I forgot to order it during the recent Network sale.

Not a problem, I am the kind of lazy arsed idiot who forgets to put the disc back in the box after watching and days later grabs whatever empty box happens to be a around, will probably end up sharing space with Jason King!

My sale order arrived today by TNT. I never heard of this company. Package
was not delivered in the normal mail. It was hand delivered. No import fee's so far. Am I to expect VAT & handling fee soon by email? I am in in the EU. The Network BDs look fantastic. Have had two on DVD before but it was a long time since I watched them.

Depends Bagdul, in the UK that often happens, but not here in Portugal. Can't speak for all 27 member states, but it's in their interest to do it before delivery so they can shake you down when you're at a disadvantage. Probably you just got lucky, or it was under the local VAT threshold.

I have never known a circumstance (in the UK) where the shipper has requested payment after delivery, they know that possession is powerful leverage which they lose once the item is delivered, I suspect Bagdul has got lucky as you say.

Oddly enough I had three nightmarish months trying to sort just that out after amazon.fr moved to a new payment system last November and no-one would take responsibility or even confirm the demands for payment from previously unknown email addresses and third party companies were genuine. It took over 100 emails - no exaggeration, I kept them in case lawyers got involved - until finally someone at amazon.uk sorted it out (and it took her two weeks to unravel and then another three to get the eur46 theyd erroneously added knocked off). And that fiasco started last year before the Brexit faeces hit the fan.

This was never used in my country. They even charge VAT on 1 dollar value on custom slip. I am not against VAT. But the handling fee...
My last UK amazon order of Demons 4K slipped thru ok. Amazon adding my countrys VAT to my payment. No additional charge upon arrival. Now safe here at home. 😀

When I first started collecting DVDs (yeah I know I'm going back a bit) one of my first imports was handled by UPS. I paid £65 for the X Files Season One which had gone OOP on VHS here.
It was delivered and I thought nothing of it. About 10 days later UPS sent me an invoice for a customs fee VAT and a handling fee. I can't even remember what they were trying to charge me. I say trying because I already had my product.

Yes my sale order from Anime UK came very fast with UPS ? I think. Fee's came in an email. This was january this year. I since had a 4K from same sale getting all the fees and VAT. Which I can live with. Their pre Christmas sale was fantastic. Last item from sale just shipped so more fees to be added soon...

It's happened to me several times over the past years and also quite recently, enough for me to think it was the norm there.

"Happy" to pay the VAT of course, but on my last FedEx shipment I had them remove the 12 nuggets processing fee:

Used this nifty template!

Which carriers ransom the goods? I still get stuff sent to my mum's so will need to look out for that, thanks for the warning.

My sale order arrived in the US. I'm new to this label, and it's always interesting to see how they do.

A few questions:

1. Most of what I ordered came with booklets/inserts. I didn't even think if Network was in on the booklets only in first pressing game. *sigh* Can anyone say definitively if these did or did not initially have inserts?

7-63 Up
The League of Gentlemen
The Man with the Golden Arm
Master of None season 1
Master of None season 2
Moulin Rouge
Sabotage
The Smallest Show on Earth
Young and Innocent

2. Any idea where to get the 10mm clear Viva Elite cases they use on many titles? That's a really fantastic size (and one of the better hubs).

3. My Monty Python box came with a shredded interior. I was prepared for a small tear as it's a known issue but this is destroyed. Here's hoping their customer service is helpful. I guess that's not a question.
