Is a nice upgrade in terms of content with lots of new stuff, but it's only a paperback, whereas the Network older version was a deluxe hardback.

They have also obviously produced the new edition to a budget to keep the price down to £20 as it is printed on what my dad describes as "cheap toilet paper", so a very low grade paper stock. Is a pity as I would have paid a bit more for a more luxurious printed version even if they had just used standard paper stock.

Hi All,

Has anyone any tips on how best to stream films from Network? The basic browser on my Samsung TV is not supported. I watched Ready When You Are, Mr McGill last night by mirroring my laptop screen and the image was juddering all over the shop.

If you mean the Watch Networkonair streaming on their website, I just give up. Seems appalling quality as always find it juddery and buffering despite other streaming services being fine. I though only ever try with their free content. Would never pay to watch anything with them as the stream quality is so poor.

I steam it onto my iPad and use Apple TV to get it onto my television. I've never had juddering or buffering issues.

I wonder why the Pablo Larrain collection never made it onto BD. Would've picked this up.

Today, Network announced Eurotrash on DVD, and I feel like I remember the Lolo Ferrari bit, so I wanted to buy it. Happily I was able to buy Life for Ruth (don't watch the clip as it seems to have a big spoiler) and 25 Years: Impressions to go with it for the same shipping fee.

Hello, my British chooms. The Eurotrash specials were

4 x Christmas editions
2 x New Year Specials
2 x Euroballs football specials (1998/2000)
A Song for Eurotrash (1998)
An Olympic special (2000)
Unzipped (2001)

And in 2016, 15 years after the show finished, the Eurotrash EU Referendum Special.

I was a regular viewer of the show from the first series to the thirteenth. I drifted away after that as it seemed to have run out of steam, Gaultier had long gone, and Lola Ferrari had died.

For old times sake, I’d have bought a selected episodes Best Of or even the first few seasons, but I’m not sure I could sit through 54 hours of it again.

Great price for the set, though, and I’m sure the more devoted fans will be thrilled.

I love KONGA! Partly because it was the first monster film I had ever seen in 1961. It was shown on the ABC cinema circuit as a double bill with THE HELLFIRE CLUB (a film which seems to have disappeared) and I saw it twice during the week it was showing, accompanied by older friends because it was an A certificate. I already have the Kino KONGA but I bought the Network version because of the extras which include a far more extensive gallery selection (I never knew there was a Konga comic book series) and booklet. The interview with Jess Conrad filmed this year is very good and it's impossible to believe he's 86. He looks a good 20 years younger.

Please Sir, Konga and The Sandwich Man. I really enjoyed all three Blu Rays.
And I loved the special features too.

The picture quality was great. The interview with David Barry was certainly worth seeing.

The Hellfire Club was on Region 1 DVD on a double bill with Blood of the Vampire.

Just ordered the two Blus. The Owl Service should be a nice upgrade and The Intruder… Finally! They’ve been threatening that one for well over a decade. Should be worth the wait now it’s in HD.

And it seems Network has embraced the limited slipcover gimmick to stimulate preorders. Well, why not?

£20 for the Lucy DVD seems a bit steep, though.

And if you’re reading this Network, The Tyrant King would look great on Blu-ray, hint-hint!

The cover to the Tales of Unease notes is a lovely little tribute to this edition from 1970. Originally published in 1966.

Their booklets are also first pressing only so copying BFI, Arrow and others.

Some of their booklets sell very fast as Defence of the Realm was sold out with booklet pretty much by day 1 of release whilst other stick around and even make later sales with booklet still included. Guess depends on popularity of title and how many they print.

The Woman in Black sold out with slipcover pretty quickly. I can't remember if both booklets were limited or just the one that wasn't included in the case.
