Thanks for that.
Just ordered Sweeney and Sweeney 2 on blu.
£15.40 for both, very happy

May go back and order a couple more titles.

On the fence about Baby Love (1968). Never seen the film and not sure if it's any good. Also I think it is the cut UK cinema version.

Bugger, just went back to get Seance on a Wet Afternoon but it looks like prices have gone back up.

Annoying but eventually most Network titles will drop in price and/or will be in a sale.

Probably saved me dropping a lot of coin that's better spent on other things.

Good luck to those who got an order in.

When did you think the work of a NATO operative would have normal office hours!

Well to be fair, every government has it's secret service branch. America, it's CIA. France, Deuxieme Bureau. England, MI5. It's only when there's a messy job that they call on me. Or someone like me.

Quite a few items have been cheaper before as I got the excellent Category III film Dream Home BD for £2 from Network a year or two ago.

Apologies if this has already been posted about (have done a post search. Fellow poster McCrutchy posted last year about Network releasing the seventh series/season of Wentworth Prison on Blu-ray). A Blu-ray pre-order listing page has appeared on Network's website (in the Coming Soon section) for the first half of the eighth series/season. It's currently airing in the UK on 5Star (don't know if it's been available beforehand on streaming). The TV listings magazine I get says there are twenty episodes in the eighth series/season, so I'm assuming there will be ten episodes in both Blu-ray volumes from Network.

Meanwhile, still haven't got Network's complete series Blu-ray release of Randall & Hopkirk (Deceased). Did notice the show in the TV listings a few weeks ago (it's currently airing on Sony Channel).

In dire sub DVD quality let it be said, the BD versions bear no resemblance to those broadcasts I'm pleased to say.

The way I see it, it (Season 8) will be ten episodes this year with series 8 part 2 released next year with the other ten.

I think the show will be broadcast in 2020 and 2021 so it’s anyone’s guess when we will see the second half of season 8.

Series 7 did indeed have 10 episodes

By the way, I love this show. I thought series 6 was weaker than usual but 7 was a return to form with really solid episodes.

I'm so pleased that Network can still sell out on an obscure TV blu-ray, especially during the time of Covid.

Which means I can't wait until they announce their next ITC/ABC filmed series restoration!! I wish they would do it soon.

Well, I've seen people in Preston wearing George Formby masks at Halloween, so maybe it's a regional thing...

Is there a decent chance Network will announce Vampire Circus at some point?

As far as I can tell it's the only Carlton library Hammer Horror they haven't released so far and has had Blu-ray releases in the US and Germany.

I haven't looked at any of the episodes on Sony Channel, but if the transfers are like those in the trailer I've seen, then yes, Network's Blu-ray transfers are miles better.
