Is the Blu-ray OOP? Only the DVD showing on Network's site, and everywhere else is DVD only except for used Blu-ray copies.

I think so. Lots of titles went OOP in the fulfilment centre move and haven't been reissued yet.

There’s more I could have ordered though. Rome Express, but it’s cheap on Amazon anyway and £2 more expensive isn’t a massive difference. Master of None, but I had enough unwatched TV series anyway. One of the British Film DVDs, but I figure it might be upgraded to Blu at some point anyway. And the Guy Hamilton film I mentioned above.

A couple of DVDs that I ordered Utopia, World in Action aren’t actually listed on the site database.

Once I put in 7 items/more than £30 worth it was charging postage so I decided to keep the total under that. I can’t actually remember the last time I ordered direct, I end up forgetting about sales or not seeing it as a significant discount. Of course if it’s a 40% or 50% off title or only a couple of quid, or something you’re really after, the discount is a no brainer. But the £2 titles from 2018 I don’t expect to see again.

Btw, i noticed the DVD of Altman’s Vincent and Theo seems to be OOP.

The Naked Civil Servant is a masterpiece, I didn’t notice the latter two on sale though, how much were they reduced to?
The latter two were £5.25 & £7.50 respectively.

Thanks. I might ask them, Hell Drivers and Black Narcissus went off the radar for a while and it turned out they were just waiting for a reprint.

Same thing happened with ROBBERY - a reminder did the trick.

Ironic that it should go out of print during the current unpleasantness.

I’ve been waiting for this for a long time. Fabulous cinematography. I have the Spanish Blu-ray but that only has Spanish audio.

Just a quick plug.

I got this in the current Network sale and have to say, what a great film! Story-wise it's very similar to the great Burt Lancester/Joan Fontaine film Kiss The Blood Off My Hands but more similar in tone and style to Odd Man Out and It Always Rains on Sunday.

To anyone curious or on the fence about it, get it with confidence! As far as the disc is concerned, it's full of speck and scratches, but it's reasonably sharp with decent contrast. Passable and probably middle of the road for the format.

I did notice the Spanish blu-ray - Luna De Miel as it's called in Spain, but I thought perhaps it was a bootleg. Although I do understand Spanish, I always hoped that one day we would see a UK release with English audio. Thankfully now we have.

For many years I kept hold of the VHS recording I made when the BBC broadcast Honeymoon, and as well as being the edited version, there was a great deal of print damage too. Only the opening titles were shown in its original 2.35:1, which was a shame because as you rightly say, the cinematography is excellent.

I’m sure the Spanish version from Divisa, licensed from Mercury Film is not a bootleg. It’s 2.35:1 although running time is 106 mins. Picture quality is rather soft so hopefully the Network will be better. The film titles say the music was recorded stereophonically but I’ve no idea if the film was ever released in stereo. The Spanish Blu has a fake 5.1 audio track. Network say their release is mono.

Most titles seem interesting to me. «*Ten Little Indians*» is a buy for me without any doubt.

There's a couple on eBay, although one fool wants nearly 22 quid for a copy with "minor surface scratches to the disc". Yeah....no.

There aren't actually any photos? Nothing on sold listings either. Not that I'm surprised.

I'm sure I have it. Picked it up for a quid somewhere.

I can't find any listed on ebay, ONLY DVD copies. The annoying thing is when you search for it, you feckin' get listings for Usual Suspects as well.

I'm glad Network are releasing Honeymoon with the mono soundtrack. I don't have a 5.1 audio system at the moment, but I've often heard that fake surround tracks can be pretty lousy.

There is some interesting information about the film on the Powell-Pressburger website (you may have already seen it) - even though Pressburger himself wasn't involved in the film, it's still listed on their website:
