The T&Cs say:

All titles under the Flash Sale category include a 40% discount as specified on the relevant product page. The 40% discount applies to all titles, excluding all pre-orders and all titles released in 2021.

So it would appear not

It’s been eight weeks. To expect a 40% discount on items less than two months old is unrealistic.

Criterion flash sales don't have that restriction, they're also 50% off and last 24 hours, not 4.

Criterion charge $40 too not circa £12 for a new release. "FFS" is an overreaction. I agree that sending an email for a flash sale that only last 4 hours, a day in advance, and with Network's problematic website is asking for trouble.

I was considering ordering Come and See and War and Peace to my dad who's in Canada right now, with the idea that he could bring it back to the UK when he comes back (hopefully in May), but the $23 flat rate shipping and talk of customs fees put me off in the end. Will wait til they're cheap on Amazon US at some point I think and get them send direct to the UK. They held a 40% offer at some Canadian website which would apparently work out cheaper, but they were both sold out when I looked.
