I have just received my 1st order from the sale. This the larger order of 8 blus and a DVD box set. Twice! The other order which is only one blu I suspect has been posted via RM. It's very generous of Network but it does mean I'll have to faff about sending it back.

EDIT: Network emailed and said the double order doesn’t need to be returned, which is nice.

In William Goldman's book "Adventures In The Screen Trade" he talks about writing the script for "The Stepford Wives" which Forbes was due to direct. Originally the 'wives' were to be portrayed as looking like Playboy bunnies in swimsuits etc. as per the original novel but when Forbes cast Newman they then had to dress in typical 1970s trouser suits and wide-brimmed hats as she was miscast (i.e. too old) in comparison to the rest of the cast.

If anyone has any doubles they don't want, pop me a DM and I might well buy them off you (few titles in the sale I slightly regret not getting)!

Forbes' nepotism was a joke, but in this case I think it worked. The Wives became 1950s sitcom housewives, which I think played into the themes better than just having them as sex dolls.

The chemist's wife is a sex doll, though.

Same here.

I would like to say that that is pretty damn impressive of Network!
I for one will be firing them a few full-priced orders to help keep them afloat after this.

My order arrived today - The World at War, Station Six-Sahara, Green for Danger, The Man in Grey and Seance on a Wet Afternoon. Great service, it certainly made up for the frustration in actually getting an order in!

This might be old news but The World at War is now in a rather cheap feeling 8-disc Elite case rather than the original digipack.

Now expecting a severe hit by customs ("Thanks" brexit-ers!).
This guy's in for a shock if he's getting duplicates

I'm actually a bit bummed I didn't get doubles. Would have been nice to do some trading in the forum.
