Regan is NOT a film. It is part of the Armchair Cinema series.

Yes, I was thinking of Fox earlier. I bought and watched the DVD set in lockdown and the picture quality is atrocious. I'd love an upgrade.

Not that I think the chances are high but I would like a blu-ray release of the woefully neglected The Knowledge (1979). Yes, I know its David Wickes TV/LWT/HBO and not Euston but I would take even a new dvd release of Philip Marlowe, Private Eye starring Powers Boothe.

I've not got round to watching my copy of Fox. Is the series any good?

Ooh, I have to have that. Normally, I'd be buying Blu-rays with it, but I accidentally discovered that Network's February TV BOGOF discount still works, so I got DVDs instead. It took ages to find a combination that wasn't one disc over the £7.85 shipping threshold to the dreaded £30 flat rate charge, but I managed, just.

Yeah, it's pretty solid. It's definitely worth watching even if the picture quality is poor. With a cast including Peter Vaughn, Ray Winstone and Derrick O'Connor the acting is of a high calibre.

Thanks. Still have a ton of Network TV stuff to get round to actually watching.

Definitely unexpected. I think it's a safe bet it was a screening on Talking Pictures TV I'd read about a few months ago. Didn't watch it, but of what I read about Out, I hoped it would get a Blu-ray upgrade (I knew before the TPTV airing, that Network had released it on DVD).

Hoping it's not too long before Network's Blu-ray releases of the various Danziger Brothers volumes (and The Cheaters: The Complete Series) appear in a Network sale, I'm thinking about getting this Blu-ray upgrade of Out sooner rather than later. Just my opinion, but for what you're getting (apparently new restorations/masters and plenty of interview extras), it seems to me a fair price. Noticed the "Network Restoration" logo on the front cover artwork of the Blu-ray upgrade of Out (off the top of my head, I can't remember seeing that before on another Network release).

Danger UXB would be nice if they're going down the Euston route.

Definitely one I would rebuy. Watch the DVDs every few years.

Presume like most Euston Films shows of that era it was 16mm ? so assuming the negatives still in archive would definitely be an upgrade.

War themed stuff always seems to be popular so think it would be a good choice.

The BDs I have that I've seen it on are Cottage to Let, Father Came Too, The Fast Lady, The Iron Maiden, Gideon's Way (series), The Woman in Black, Futtocks End, Kidnapped, Maroc 7
etc

I think it means Network have restored something themselves?

I knew after I posted/asked about that "Network Restoration" logo last night, that my mind had gone blank/I had a senior moment, that it had appeared on the front cover artwork of other Network titles.

I noticed on Network's website earlier that they've got a Blu-ray titles offer on at the moment, "35% off 100 TV & film Blu-rays. Promo ends 4 pm BST, Tuesday 11th April". The limited edition Gideon's Way boxset is one of the titles in this offer.

Ordered a bunch of stuff I never knew I wanted! Including The World at War. I missed The Ipcress File, will probably also add that with another order in a few days.

The only items on that list that aren't tempting me are the ones I bought in the same sale last year, which I still haven't got round to watching most of...

Thankfully, there's plenty of time to order these by which time credit cards will roll over...

PS celluloid heroes never really di-i-ie
