They may well be sold out so don’t think they have any stock in a warehouse. I ordered a week before release day and it never shipped. Then a week or so later they closed. So not sure if they stopped sending orders or had none left.

Anyway they processed an automatic PayPal refund same as for The Baron a week back.

They seem to have pressing stock in much smaller batches recently, I presume so they weren’t sitting on loads of unsold stock.

I ordered OUT less than a week before release date, and managed to get it, am UK based if this maded any difference.

Have watched the series all the way through, and the extras, really excellent series, and good PQ.

I think we were very lucky to get OUT released and shipped, but I would rather have had series 2 of The Sweeney.

Getting Out on blu was a miracle of sorts anyway, let alone receiving it a week or two before Network went bust.

I'm still holding out hope for a rescue operation.

Thanks for the reply’s on the out Blu-ray,with network stuff I usually waited for sales but it had been a while since I visited the site, mainly thought I was safe waiting on them because everything I wanted seemed to stay in print or really easy to get hold of cheap, so I was prioritising other labels with limited editions like second sight, criterion, arrow etc.now I’m kicking myself and trying to find everything I want before the inevitable oop price rises.

Out Blu-ray going on eBay save search list, where fingers crossed it’ll be a reasonable price

Sorry None on eBay right now.I meant you can tell eBay to notify you if someone decides to sell one in the future by saving your search

I received the first of several recently placed orders of Network titles from Rarewaves today. I was surprised to find the Blu-Ray unsealed, with a note on the invoice that said:

"Why is my item not sealed? Please be aware that not all items from the UK are supplied factory sealed/shrink-wrapped by the manufacturer. However, please be assured that this item is brand new, bought direct from the UK supplier."

Has anyone had similar experience with Rarewaves, specifically with Network titles? Anytime I purchased direct from Network, the discs were sealed, so this has the smell of nonsense about it. Plus, the Blu-Ray that arrived, though it had no marks on the disc, did have a small ding in the center of the front cover plastic, and there were already quite a few dust specs on the disc. I'll be keeping the disc, but would definitely take issue if they're selling "used" goods as "new" and at "new" prices.

I've ordered many, many items direct from Network and not once had any arrive unsealed.

Never had anything arrive unsealed from Rarewaves myself.

Got a few Network releases on my way from them, though.

What release was it?

I've never had anything arrive unsealed from Network. Only HMV do that sort of thing (twice with premium collection titles in case you're wondering). They spun me the line, that's how they came from the factory.

Some Region A Criterions were unsealed and definitely well used. Regarding Network titles I have received one unsealed, one with a security tag on the back and also a couple of reseals.

I ordered a few Network titles from Rarewaves and my first shipment arrived, which was supposed to be "Alfie Darling" but instead was a soundtrack for Jesus Christ Superstar and a Dua Lipa CD. They said they would correct the shipping error. Something tells me I'm not getting that particular title, but there's going to be a very disappointed Andrew Lloyd Weber/Dua Lipa fan out there receiving a 70's sexploitation comedy.

Editing to add: the Jesus Christ Superstar CD was not sealed!

Oh, yeah, I have had that happen to me, too. Back when Barnes still would ship to Europe, I used to buy every time they had their famous 50% off on Criterion sales. Had a couple arrive that had clearly been resealed and had smudges from finger prints on the discs.

My Joe 90 complete series set arrived from HMV the other day unsealed. It’s mint: spotless discs, no case wear etc but I strongly suspect that’s not how it originally arrived at HMV. Best guess is it’s a shop copy that’s been returned to warehouse sans cellophane. Capt Scarlet set from amazon was sealed.

Can second this, though I wouldn't necessarily say they were used. The two I received had the same sort of scruff on the spine, which makes me think it was a damaged batch. Wouldn't complain, paid peanuts for the pair.

Same thing happened to me yesterday. My copy of Ten Little Indians arrived from Rarewaves unsealed, never had that happen before with either a Network title or any other title.

It drives me nuts the way they did the bonus disc for both of these. Only including it in the last season set and excluding it from the complete set.
