Looks like they are placing all my orders on hold without explanation

I give up with them, horrible communication

Is this happening to anyone else or am I the only one with bad luck?

Are you in NYC and or are these your first orders? Maybe it's just an added security thing

I am ordering international but I have ordered from them before with no problem which is why I am confused.

I just received another generic e-mail:

Our IT team have identified there was an issue with our website over the
weekend and is currently working to fix it as soon as possible. We are
dealing with your enquiry and will respond shortly in the meantime we do
apologise for any convenience caused.

I have a feeling that none of my orders will be honored due to some problem with my orders being from outside the UK. I can't think of any other reason they would be put on hold.

Now I have been overcharged! Just checked my credit card and I have been overcharged £13. I split my large order into smaller ones to avoid postage and have been charged random extra amounts on most of them!

I was going to buy Robbery in the sale but happened to wander into CEX today where they had one copy for £6. Perfect!

One of my orders has shipped, the other simply listed as payment accepted.

Frankly I've more important things to worry about.

In my experience this happen last year during their summer sale, I simply put it down to the Sony warehouse not having enough copies of some items. Arrow sales are a lot worse for this problem than Network.

Get on the phone and ask for a refund. Odeon did the same thing to me last year and immediately refunded the difference (but as I'd paid through Paypal it took 3 days to clear )

If On Hold means they are waiting for more copies, I don't mind. The thing is I have no idea what it means.

My orders through previous sales have always gone through to fulfillment without ever being put on hold.

Regarding your previous point I don't think it's a stock issue in this instance. Sony haven't even been sent the orders from Network yet which is a little unusual even during sales. If there was a phone number I would be on it. I have emailed Network as I thought that's the only way to contact them. The phone goes through to Sony when I initially called.

On hold is nothing to do with waiting for stock.

Thanks...I didn't think so.

Hopefully I will hear what the problem is before the sale ends so I can re-order if necessary.

I've got the same problem as yours, my order is "on hold" for no obvious reason. i did write an email to their CS, 6 hours later I've got the same response email as yours too.

Last e-mail we got was from Network saying our order had been shipped.

I sent another e-mail asking if my orders on hold will be cancelled and I got a reply that they will not, so that is good news.

I don't mind waiting, I was just worried the orders would be cancelled and I would miss the sale.

Well no movement on orders and no reply about being overcharged. Pretty sure from your postings I emailed them about the same time as you (give or take an hour) so I should have received a reply by now. Can't contact them by phone either so looks like I will have to get my credit card company to get my money back.

Yeah, that sucks. I hate when you can't speak to a customer service rep of the company by phone.

I'm pretty sure that's just Sony who ship the orders not Network themselves who have only an email contact.
