I got I, III, and IV during the crazy Amazon sale, but II never went on sale.

Thanks in advance.
I asked Network that very question a couple of weeks ago. They only stock the standard amaray release now.

Slightly random question but can anyone on here confirm if the 2016 Timeslip DVD set is a significant improvement over the old ITC VHS editions? As those 8 tapes are famous for their very poor picture and sound quality I'm wary of upgrading.

Is there a trick I'm missing regarding adding items to cart? Only ordered Network items via Amazon before, I made an account, logged in, but can't add to cart.

Thanks

To be clear, I'm having trouble adding to cart on Network's site.

Might be a browser thing, I just click AD TO CART and a pop-up appears at the top of the screen confirming the addition.

I recently bought professionals mk11 from cex. It came with the book which luckilly was in pristine condition.
Unless you have an aversion to second-hand it may be your best bet.

The tapes were literally the 16mm recordings they had at the time with zero restoration.
Work was done on them and they were significantly improved when Carlton released them on dvd and that remains the best release purely for picture quality.
As is common with Network dvd's of ITV product their authoring and / or encoding gear is substandard and the picture quality is not as good as it should be. But as these are both B&W and 16mm telerecordings the shortcomings are not as obvious as on many other Network releases. If you don't have the Carlton release to compare you'll likely not notice.
The Network dvd also includes the 90 minute documentary produced over a number of years by the website that had its own release a few years back so if you're a big fan then that makes the Network one the easy option.
Certainly far better than the VHS

To put it bluntly the Network website is shit.
There are always problems but it seems to be different with each user. Some people reckon Chrome works great but I can't log in with Chrome so all my purchases have to be via Firefox.
Adding things to cart and even paying vary so any issues you have should be sorted by changing browsers.

But don't bank on it

I placed an order last night - and today, it refuses to even recognize my password. Very weird site, indeed.

I placed an order for Made and Mine Own Executioner but ordering through Amazon on this occasion in comparison to Network's bonkers price mean I actually saved £1+

Yes, I've ordered loads of times using Chrome but for the last few weeks since the Bonkers sale started I can't even log in. It doesn't say wrong password or anything it just won't log in.
I switch to Firefox and everything runs smoothly

Yes £1.33 does compute. If I had prime I would buy the cheapest of each one and pay a total of £5.99. Every little bit and a bit more helps.

Yeah I was a bit premature there. It just made sense to get them both at once

The special Limited release of The Goodies arrived yesterday. The show is quite a long way down my list of favourites but it's packages like these that make me so glad we have Network. There's the standard dvd set that you can now also get from Amazon but there's the 3 cd set of music, 2 big fat books, a tote bag and the nice certificate signed by the 3 Goodies - although there is apparently a load of packages been sent out with their certificates missing - so check if you haven't yet done so.
Looks like all the episodes are uncut complete with references to Jimmy Savile and Rolf Harris and all the lovely un PC material such as the Black and White Minstrels portrayed as monkeys clambering over a vehicle in Scatty Safari.

Well done Network

Well done Network
Only the first 500 copies have the signed certificate. I remember this being clearly stated on the item profile. That said maybe Network have messed up, what do I know...

Glad the episodes appear to be uncut. I said when this was announced I'm sure Network wouldn't have released it otherwise, but the lack of confirmation is worrying.

The first 500 people got emails confirming it.

Several people who received emails saying they were in the first 500 and would get the certificate have not got them. They have contacted Network and the error is being corrected
