Expect the same pattern in the coming weeks +/- 1
Where did Dave make a prediction?

Not that it really matters. So, Yoda, this week we had big retailers going Blu-ray exclusive and Blu-ray back above 80% in the Nielsen's. What say you?

That's what I thought.

Default Predictions

If they Predict 80/20 Ill miss by 2. The hollywood report claimed 81/19....I hope its 80/20. That will keep me at a 2 average and near the top of the contest list. I was tied for forth so far.

Yeah, I thought the new source was a mod of another forum. Is this not the case?

Either way, I was closer than I have yet been so far in the prediction game.

People figured out that it didn't play in DVD players....even if they are hooked up to an HDTV.

Thanks for confirming that for me. I was trying to figure out how I had come up with that idea if it wasn't the case.

I suspect that it is this new source that caused the closing date of the game threads to be set for Wednesdays.

If confirmed officially, this is another big win, specially considered how many HD DVD promos were going on at Amazon, Best Buy and Circuit City to sell players and discs.

"Blu-ray Disc titles also accounted for 81% of all high-def disc sales for the week, with HD DVD at just 19%."

A nice win for BD...I'm interested to see what this weeks numbers will be. American Gangster was a nice release for HD DVD, but the Toshiba rumors might squash their numbers even more. No Reservations will probably beat it 2 or 3 to 1...just so you know I've never seen that movie and I don't think I want to I just that the BD numbers will devastate and HD DVD number.

Thanks.

P.S. Is it just me or is the home media magazine website not working at all.

The Hollywood Reporter is probably reporting the numbers as they will be released by HMM.
