Not quite. Out of the latest total of 11,820 official deaths, 3257 of them have it listed as underlying conditions unknown. That's 27% of those deaths.

None of which changes the data I just presented to you. You can say it's 66 deaths (it's 68 now actually), but it'd be silly to just disregard more than a quarter of the deaths that we don't know whether they died with or without underlying conditions.

Also, underlying conditions is a pretty big catch-all, including obesity, and asthma in it as well. These aren't nowhere as deadly to have as high blood pressure, and diabetes, but are still lumped in with everything else, which no doubt skews the underlying conditions totals somewhat.

I suppose you plan to avoid all obese people, and ask if anyone around you is asthmatic too, in addition to avoiding old people of course.

A chart that your city put out is unreliable? I'd think if anyone would seek for positivity it's someone from the hardest hit part of America. I'm upstate, but if I was downstate I'd be even more ecstatic with those figures.

I see it that way as well. The people who are soaking up that cash and doing nothing hate to see that data coming across. Our governor also said unemployment funds have about evaporated....so I wouldn't count on that money being a guarantee in the coming weeks.

And, again, I've stopped watching press conferences or even reading the news. The bottom line for me is that almost everyone I know is unemployed and I'm still talking to people who know people that are dying.

I went outside today and I saw bars open. They were serving shots on the street while people had their sippy cups of alcohol standing around them.

This ain't going anywhere until it does.
