It isn't just people. It is the food service industry who relies on meat. You want to bring that down as well?

People shouldn't keep touching their masks (with their potentially infected hands) all the time, so it makes sense to put the mask on and not take it off when you're out. I'm always wearing a mask in the car. |

Not hard to take off and put on without touching it, but if it's more convenient and it doesn't bother you to leave it on all the time, then good for you.

It appears that a male patient from France had traces of Covid-19 hidden within frozen lab samples the 27th of December last year which was a month before China had submitted it's 1st ever case of the virus to the WHO. The male patient from France was initially treated for pneumonia at a hospital in Paris. It turns out that the doctor who was treating him had said, via an interview, to local French media on Sunday that he had discovered traces of the virus in the man's frozen lab samples. This type of discovery makes it very much likely that Covid-19 was spreading around in Europe before it first hit Asia.
It also raises fears that a 2nd wave of the virus could hit Europe once again very soon. https://www.rte.ie/news/coronavirus/...avirus-europe/ With Europe trying to wind down it's restrictions of the virus for the past while. This type of news does come as a huge blow in trying to mitigate the virus. Although we do not know yet how severe the so-called 2nd wave of Covid-19 is until the spread of the virus is officially beginning to increase in huge numbers once again within our health services across the continent & for the rest of the world. Health authorities in other countries, including the WHO, now have to take stock of this news by investigating how this virus had occurred in France exactly 1 month before it had made it's destructive impact in China. |

https://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NEJMoa2001316 late edit to add, I think you're confusing something in the article, I bolded the parts of your post which didn't match the article you linked to, that it was spreading in Europe before Asia. The article I'm pretty sure is referring to French patient zero, not coronavirus sars2-covid19 patient zero. Last edited by ctujackbauer; 05-05-2020 at 06:21 PM. |
