I just pretend to sneeze right before a huffer and puffer goes by...

Ok, I don't. I do swear at them though. But usually they're all wearing their stupid ear buds so they don't hear me - still calling them names makes me feel better.

Well apparently at downtown office towers - they only let 2 people on at a time. Obviously it takes forever for people to get to their floor.

Side note: I've been selling like mad on eBay. People are buying such random crap right now. If you're looking for extra income, this is the time to do it...especially puzzles. People are going gaga for puzzles.

I don't see a problem as long as everyone is wearing a face covering. Masks or face coverings block practically all the droplets, which are what causes nearly all of the airborne infections. And you're not in the elevator long enough to get contaminated by aerosols, unless you're going to the 47th floor and some kid pushes all the buttons .

So you have to sign a liability waiver for coronavirus before entering a Disney park.

I don't really GAF about Disneyland, but can't we have these things for Souplantation or any buffet? People know the risks about going to a buffet beforehand. Just an ipad with a scribble, scribble, sign on the dotted line and all should be fine.

I want to go back to Souplantation. This is bull****.
I didn't think it would be necessary but you can get sued for anything in America so i guess a signed waiver is the best way for them as a company to protect themselves. I understand their logic for not wanting to get sued over something they cannot control because people inevitably won't social distance etc.

Personally not swayed by the argument face masks are necessary but don't think they'll exactly be harmful either. Some people just get self importance imo by trying to get on a moral high horse. It's like it gives their existence meaning for a moment.

4 A's the past term, don't think summer classes will be happening without more aid from my school because I don't have $3000+ to pay for tuition and books. NMSU is trying to act like face to face activities and classes will resume in the fall but I'm not so sure.

So many people stressing over others not wearing masks outdoors. Someone posted here that they're annoyed that kids are on bicycles without masks! That's just crazy to worry or get upset over that. As eloquently said by Todd Tomorrow, outdoor risk is very low, and the sooner people realize that and not freak out so much and put the risk in its proper place, the better.

Or how about when some people portray themselves as morally superior to others with their pompous preaching, but when it comes to practicing what they so self-righteously preach they hypocritically fall far short of what they say they stand for and believe in.

I think "The Media" are just a bunch of hypocrites and shills for stuff these days tbh. They're just there for the money and particularly those tabloid types who rely on "celebrity" stories trying to find alternate things to push.

The truth from what i've seen is my reality you know. I go out to buy shopping and i can tell people are not physically distancing (I HATE the term social distancing) and so on, but i don't get on a high horse or anything. It's just the reality that most people in a lot of areas aren't 100% on the rules. That's because we appreciate our risk and i guess most probably don't like being dictated certain things to and even more so when we see figures like Dominic Cummings flouting those very rules. Then trying to weasel his way out of it.

I don't know if it is just England on June 15th but that day cannot come soon enough. I plan to be straight down to the shop to buy some stuff i didn't get to before hand and hopefully see if i can do a few other things.

I think i may have already had this in February but i don't know as i've not been tested but it took quite a few weeks to have whatever it was clear my system and feel back to normal again. An antigen test would confirm but i'm not paying the ridiculous money they want.

Well, i can honestly say we've seen and will continue to see many examples of said behaviour. Such is life.

It was actually a news report in Australia i think where people who try "shaming" others on their perceived lack of physical distancing and so on. Like they had a mental bloody tape measure. In the UK, tutting to indicate disapproval for similar reasons lmao

Honestly, i get we're all human, we all have mistakes and failings, but certain situations and how people act in them irk me quite a lot. I know i have quite a strong opinion on stuff and whatnot, but i'd like to think i could respectfully debate and agree to disagree if it came down to an impasse.

Enh. I'm cool with shaming. Put a goddamn mask on. It's not that difficult.

One of the extremely rare cases I agree with our PM...

Pushing for all companies to offer 10 days paid sick leave.

Exactly. We may never find a vaccine. We can't stay in our houses forever wearing a face mask.

At this point I don't even care what restaurant it is, as long as it doesn't have a drive-thru (and I'm somewhat of a fan of fast food too).

90% of the restaurants are open here now for dine-in. Most still have the limited Covid menus though.
