Default Noir enthusiasts....your recommendations?

Been itching to check out some older noir flicks from the golden age of Hollywood, but I don't know much about the genre. Throw some names out and I'll watch them.

Not from the Golden Age, but excellent, Body Heat.

Can't go wrong with Double Indemnity. I highly recommend that one. In fact, I'd make that my first stop on the noir express. Many (most?) consider it to be the best of the noirs.

Also The Postman Always Rings Twice and Out of the Past. Don't know if these two are technically noirs, but White Heat and Touch of Evil are both excellent black and white crime thrillers. Alas, none of them on Blu.

I agree with TOUCH OF EVIL, one of my favourites.

And also, I recommend LAURA (1944, by Otto Preminger), but sadly, it's not in Blu yet.

The Big Sleep, with Bogie & Bacall--
Don't expect to understand the ending on the first go, but with noir, by the time you're that far in, it doesn't matter.

(And a darker film than The Maltese Falcon, obviously, but thought it might help to include that just in case.)
