It's widely considered to be British noir, which is a bit looser with categorization than most of their US counter-parts. It also includes a commentary from noir historian Imogen Sara Smith. Of the three British titles announced, it's Seven Days to Noon that's probably the most questionable of the three, but it's still considered Brit Noir.

I wonder if Studio Canal will release Seven Days Till Noon in the UK under their Vintage Classics range? They've already released the other two, i may well hold off & wait.
I have the UK dvd from Studio Canal & it's another cracking little film from the Boulting Brothers though.

Yeah, I imagine they will. I was surprised to see it come from Kino before SC released it. Most of the SC titles have had releases in the UK for some time already.

Naked Alibi et al. look like some good ones.

Anyone know what became of the Nightmare Alley release? It was scheduled for release, then just kind of...wasn't. This site lists 12/31/2019 but that smells like a placeholder date. I was really looking forward to that one.

Signal One, not only somewhat notorious for having releases taking months to be released from announcement, had some troubles when HMV, a UK media store outlet, had financial problems earlier in the year. The low-down, many titles that SO had been planned were cancelled but "Nightmare Alley" will still be coming next year.

This happens quite a lot with WAC, along with other MOD lines in general, titles on Amazon where the pre-orders are removed so Amazon can allocate more stock for the demand.

It's because it's a Warner Archive title. The pre-orders for these titles on Amazon are notoriously finicky. It doesn't mean anything about its actual release.
