[Show spoiler]Yes, and indeed is safe to assume that however going on what we see in the film and what we may believe the last scene of the movie with or without a ring on can help some of us decide if that was reality.

[Show spoiler]Tom Hardy (the actor who played Eames) is sitting right next to 2 men with bags over their heads. One we know is Fischer because he takes it off and grabs the other guy. It makes absolutely no sense for Tom Hardy to be in that shot. He is supposed to be the guy with a bag over his head next to Fischer. Watch it again and you will see it.

In no way does this detract from the story or greatness of the film. Its just something that should have been caught.

I more than likely will see it again (in theatres) and I'll make sure to pay extra close attention to that scene. It would be an interesting slip up for sure.

Agree... there's no logical reason for a sequel. The industry may be risk-averse, but they don't have to franchise every movie that turns a profit.

I understand the role of the extractor, forger, architect, and chemist, but what exactly is the responsibility of the point man other than being in the coolest scene of the movie?

Died where? In the van? He was dreaming there. I don't see anyone discussing the internal logic of the movie and how that plays out at the end.

During any particular dream level, the dream doesn't turn into a completely different scenario. Remember what the first architect said to Saito?

"You're not dreaming, I am." So when Cobb goes after Saito to retrieve him, it's Saito's dream, not Cobb's. If Cobb didn't get out, then neither did Saito. So, the end would have had to have been Saito's dream, which doesn't make sense.

It was interesting, I just don't think it came together very well. Confusing at a glance, the plot unravels upon closer inspection. And to be clear, I didn't hate it, I just think it was a bit big for its britches.

Didnt like this movie very much. I understood it all the way through, I just didnt think it was all that interesting. About halfway through I was really getting bored with it. Ill give it one more shot when it comes out on BD through netflix, but I felt that this was his worst movie ive seen.

Im just not sure Nolan is a great writer. If you look at his experience with writing on IMDB, its very limited. He hasnt actually written a movie by himself since Following in '98. Great director, not a great writer. This is not a guy that has spent his life learning how to write well. It's something he just does sometimes, and it really shows in this movie.

My real issue with the movie were the arbitrary rules and paradoxes. Who says you wake up when you die? And who says you go to limbo if you die in a dream within a dream? If the entire dream world is the creation of the conscious and subconscious, why can't you just dream that bullets don't kill you? Why would being shot in one dream level affect you in another? If one person can dream a security team, why can't you also? And so on...

If it's your idea, your story but can't really get it down on paper then why not get somebody to help. It's still his story.
