If you are right about that, and none of the rest of us picked that up, then you definitely deserve a cookie and a medal for that one.

Thanks, dude. I wasn't expecting that "clicking sound" at the end, and I so wanted to check that out again just to be absolutely sure! Hopefully the BD comes out sooner than later, and we can all "verify" that then.

The thing that really got to me, was the tie-in between the nature of guilt, and the technological aspect of dream-state exploration. Besides carrying my own baggage of regrets, I've counseled several others through episodes of deep guilt, and one common thread that was always discussed was how such regret can drive you to madness by dominating your subconscious and your dreams, to the point where you literally begin to question what is real and what is a manifestation of your own torment.

A sequel could be made:

The $271 million success of "Inception" could tempt Warners to propose a sequel. But with critics and the public alike lauding the action fantasy's originality, director Christopher Nolan no doubt would want to conjure a fresh approach to any sequel to the dreams-based fantasy.

"The way the move ended, Chris could develop another story, if he were so inclined," Warners distribution topper Dan Fellman said. "His plate is pretty full right now, but never say never."

Me too - or, at least, it wouldn't involve an Inception.

As I said before - if anything, Nolan should tell the story that was briefly touched upon.

It was said that the machine came about from the military experimenting with it - having soldiers being able to basically go in and wage a battle (kill and get killed) with no real repurcussions.

Now THAT, could be a freakin' amazing story with some killer action. I'm sure things got way out of hand.

So, if anything - a "prequel" could be told.

I can 99.99% guarantee that Nolan would have nothing to do with a sequel or prequel. He cares too much about that movie to indulge people who missed the point. If one is made, it would be done without him.
