if you've only seen it once I suggest seeing it again. with movies of extreme hype it's usually necessary.

Default I bought it.

I'm one of the few people who has not seen it. I bought the steelbook, but I do not think I'll open it. I'll get it on netflix, and if I like it I'll probably just buy the regular edition. I am not a Leo fan. If I hate the movie, then I'll trade the steel for something I want. Win win imo.

INCEPTION is nothing short of amazing. Saw it 4 times in theatres and can't wait to sit down and watch my Steelbook Blu-ray release with my girlfriend... when she has time for me. Women!

I, for one, enjoyed Inception to certain extent but thought that it was overhyped to tremendous degree.

In particular, I think the movie overall fel too generic and tecnical, there was very litle emotions in the movie. It felt like a lecture.
On the good side, it was very unique and that is quiet appreciated by me.
A little bit of a paradox there

I heavily enjoyed the film

Don't know. I had no desire to see it. To me, it looked like another special effects laden, intellectual wannabe film that Hollywood loves to put out every now & again... You know, today's Matrix.

just watched this, while decent, it was anything but great, had a TON of missed opportunities and the result was so-so imo. Not bad but not great by any means. Just another rehash movie of what existenz, thirteenth floor, vanilla sky and the like did already, and while this had the potential to be better it was far from it. Started off strong, but seemed to fizzle out half way through.

I absolutely love this movie, seen it 8 times already, will probably watch it again tonight! Best movie since Revenge of the Sith, at least I think so.

Ariadne: Cobb can't build anymore, can he?
Arthur: I don't know if he can't, but he won't. He thinks it's safer if he doesn't know the layouts.
Ariadne: Why?
Arthur: He won't tell me, but I think it's Mal.
Ariadne: His ex-wife?
Arthur: No, not his ex.
Ariadne: They're still together?
Arthur: No. She... she's dead. What you see in there is just his projection.
Ariadne: What was she like in real life?
Arthur: She was lovely.

You should change your username to one of the characters in the movie. I wonder which one you'd pick?

I'd probably do it, if I liked Inception more than LoTR. Seen it 9 times now it'd be more if I weren't taking a break from movies.

Didn't LoTR come out before RoTS?

It sure did, not really sure what that has to do with this though. If you mean what I said above I stand by it, I like Inception more than any movie I've seen in theatres since Revenge of the Sith, so since May 2005.

I have seen it twice (three times counting the theater viewing) and it does not wear on me. I would see it again, but I do not want to over do it. Anyways, I am watching The Pacific and really enjoying that.

I asked that because of these two things you said:

I meant to ask "Did LoTR come out before RoTS?" Somehow I thought all the Star Wars movies came out before Lord of the Rings.

So in regards to your favorites, is it:

LoTR > RoTS > Inception

or:

LoTR > Inception > RoTS

or:

a different order?

My favorite movie of all time is the Hunt for Red October. Inception would probably be in my top 3 movies of all time.

Wow what a phenominal movie. Definately one of the best films Ive ever seen, and thats saying A LOT. I absolutely loved it. And yes the damn top stopped spinning. I mean you can clearly see it start to lose its rotation. Anyway I cant wait to watch it a second time.

OK, watched this again last night on BD... first time seeing it since the theater.... a few questions that dont add up...

First - What were they trying to get from Saito's safe in the beginning when they go into his dream??

2nd - How do you get out of limbo? if you just have to kill yourself... why did Saito stay so long?
